Happy pride month from the creators of Unit 12! Today, I want to take the time to celebrate the queer characters in our short podcast, as well as the queer characters that are undoubtedly in our next one.
Yes, this is official: We have a new podcast.
Moirai: Killing Ground is wrapping up casting calls in three days, and we will be making our selection shortly.
The team for this podcast is larger than Unit 12, both with actors and other crew members (something I never thought I'd do, solely due to not wanting to accidentally micromanage or step on people's toes). I am so grateful for everyone who is helping with Moirai: Killing Ground, and those who will be and don't know it it (If it helps, I don't know either, I still haven't listened to the auditions :P).
But back to the topic, our lovely queer characters!
We have Amity, our fallen angel and one hell of a lesbian (RIP to our girl, she's back at the pearly gates now)
We have Cinna, our aroace icon (and my daughter)
We have Vex, our agender and pansexual demon who doesn't know what an inside thought is (dw I don't either)
We have Mateo, our unlabeled vampire who still doesn't quite understand labels but has definitely experimented over the centuries
We have Clover, our biromantic fae that still hasn't figured out what people mean by having a "special someone" (she honestly thought the other fae were talking about the humans they captured as pets)
We have Eddie and Danny Volate (last name pronunciation still under debate), our lovely gay couple celebrating their 13th anniversary this year
We have Liam, who says he's straight, but there are still several people trying to test that theory.
And hopefully, this time next year, we can make another post about our new lovely cast of Moirai: Killing Ground.
