"My friend, it has been too long." Syl'tal spoke with a smile on his face as he walked up to Nin.
It had been years since they were in the same space last and Syl'tal wasn't sure what life events he passed along to his friend. Before he could ask any questions, and before Nin could respond, one of those events shoved passed him. Syl'tal grunted and stumbled some as his younger brother reached out, hand grabbing Nin's, "Syl'tal, you never told me how handsome he is."
"Revas--"
"Revas Lavellan, at your service."
Nin stared at the two in front of him, the whirlwind that just happened finally settling down until Revas lifted his hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it. He grinned behind the gesture as Syl'tal gawked behind him. Nin let out a light laugh before he nodded to Revas, "a pleasure. And what services would you provide exactly?"
There was an attempt at an answer but Revas was yanked back by his brother, "being a nuisance. Don't let him fool you, he has some alternative motive to this."
"I would expect nothing less, he is related to you is he not? But I would also not want to discount an ally that could be used."
Syl'tal couldn't help but laugh and let go of Revas, "he is reliable, I will give him that, but it comes with a downside."
"Oh?"
"He flirts too much, even for a Crow. Do be careful."
Nin laughed again and waved his hand, "you have no faith that I can handle it?"
"I have no faith that he won't be annoying about it."
Revas rolled his eyes, "You know I'm still standing here, yeah?"
The three spoke for a long time, catching up and sharing experiences. Syl'tal watched as his younger brother asked question after question, it was like he was starstruck. Revas wouldn't admit it but Syl'tal could read him much better than when they first met. And Nin? Nin listened as the youngest of the three spoke and told stories. Answered questions when Revas asked. And when they began their goodbyes, Nin was setting up a next meeting between him and the Crow.
A goodbye with a promise of meeting again in the near future was said between Syl'tal and Nin before the older brother excused himself. Revas knew Syl'tal would be expecting him to follow but he hesitated. He thought for a moment before he eyed Nin, "I know he'd kill me if I gave you a kiss to the cheek so I'm going to say I did without doing it. It'll be fun to see his reaction."
Nin covered his mouth to muffle the laugh, "like any true brother would."
Revas gave a little bow before he started after his brother, "I hope we meet again. Don't think it'd hurt to have a Crow in your back pocket."
