πππ§π§ππ‘π ππ’ π . I've had few major breakthroughs that shaped my life so far. . One of them saved me from the streets around 15 years ago and lead me down a bright path to which I'm eternally grateful ππ» . Another one was last year at Issa Assaf's #ualimitless in @uantonine after which I took the symbolic #firewalk and walked to the other end with a new stronger and deeper character. . The other one was 4 days ago in #Jordan. It was a #Leadership Bootcamp, also by @issa_assaf . Let me tell you about the two of them and why you NEED to follow my footsteps π£ . βοΈ First of all, traveling was never on the list of things I want to do in my life simply because I hate long drives. That was until I realized that it takes 2:30 hours from #Beirut to my village in the South of #Lebanon by car, and only 1:50 hours from Beirut to #Amman by plane π€¦π»ββοΈ . βοΈ Watching educational videos on my phone is beneficial, but is still somehow in my comfort zone (refer to the post on comfort zone below). . To break this pattern, I needed to do something bold; something I hadn't done before... Travel βοΈ . You know you're starting to escape your comfort zone when you feel unsafe, stepping into uncertainty. But that just the dusk before the dawn. . βοΈ I got to understand myself at a very deep level TWICE. The scary part is that reading is second nature to me and I learned a lot! I can't help but wonder what such experience would do to someone who doesn't give time for personal development π€ . βοΈ I spent a whole week on a digital detox, with a daily optional 30 minute window to check my messages. I only used two of them and had my phone completely off for the duration of the bootcamp. What a relief that was! . βοΈ πππ ππππ π ππππ ππππ ππ ππ πππ πππππππ ππ ππππππ ππππ πππ. . One particular person on the #IssaAssaf team was the crew chief @baselrawas who was, without a doubt, the secret soldier that kept everything in order.
