I don’t think I ever made a proper illustration of all three of them together yet, and I also need to see some more wholesome domestic Alphyne content in my life, so perfect excuse for this!

if witch hat atelier becomes a dungeon meshi situation where it literally just never gets an anime even after being super successful im going to be sooooooooooooooooo sad. like not like the manga isnt such a complete experience but i see them MOVING in my head and i wish they would be moving all the time

Uh oh UnboundTale spoilers look away lol

So these guys haven’t been introduced fully in the comic yet cuz ✨their existence is a spolier✨, but since they only appear much later in the story (or early depending on how you look at it lol) I don’t get many opportunities flesh them out. I’ve been wanting to revisit them for a while, and so I decided the day to revisit them is now!

Meet: the Souls and Robotics team

Aka, Exo’s found family before the fire nation attack- I mean before the events of the main comic. The Lab Team™️ consists of young and talented bright minds tasked with developing experimental cyborg models for the betterment of sCIENCE.

They more so exist for backstory reasons, and because of that they’re kindof underdeveloped as individual characters. I’m wanting to make a mini comic series about them eventually to develop them more. But as they say, you need a canvas before you can start painting, so I needed to make a new base to work off of since their designs before are vERy outdated lol. If there’s enough interest I might make another post talking about each of them, but for now ima just leave you with the pretti art lol

I wanted to make a note about the last gorl. So I made two character named Cherrybomb over the years, those being the original candy demon and a slime girl. The slime girl was originally gonna be an utauloid but it never ended up happening. And I figured since if I tried just updating the candy demon design it would just end up looking like Moxie from Helluva Boss, so I just fused both designs lol. Honestly I think the lil slime devil gremlin makes for a more fun design.
