NAME: Clover Sunnyside

Having come from an unpleasant childhood, Clover climbed up Mount Ebott when they were eight years old while on a self-given mission to find their friends who had fallen down. They had a fascination with Wild Western and growing up around the culture, having a Cowboy aesthetic, though this is most easily seen in their accent and style. At the end of their journey, Clover was adopted by Starlo, and lived with the rest of the Feisty Five, being the only Human with a permanent residence in the Underground since Chara’s death, not that the other monsters were aware of this.

  They worked as the deputy of the Wild East after having stumbled into the Dune’s by accident. Having a unique ability to remember past RESETs, Clover eventually couldn’t take watching their friends, family, and those of other monsters get torn apart again and again. Eventually leading Clover down a path of GENOCIDE themselves.

  At first, Clover eventually came to the realization that they couldn’t beat Frisk if they weren’t DETERMINED enough, so they injected themselves with liquid DETERMINATION. When that didn’t work, they started killing monsters to try and SPARE them from Frisk’s wrath. At first, this was just the monsters in Frisk’s path, but eventually Clover began to believe that wasn’t enough, and began to murder every Monster in the Underground. Believing that, what they were doing was an act of MERCY by not letting them get killed by Frisk, and bringing JUSTICE to those that had already fallen.

  After having finally beaten Frisk, Clover was the most DETERMINED being in the Underground. Despite this, Clover refused to RESET, realizing that if they did, they would lose the ability, and Frisk would come back and just do it all over again, trapping them in an endless cycle of death. They also realized what they had done, and believed themselves to be no better than the person they were trying to kill, and therefore kept themselves in isolation. (mostly, they do still talk to Flowey)

  During the time after Frisk’s death, Clover has dove head first into researching science, and ways to try and bring the other fallen humans back to life, along with learning at least some basic repair skills, to try and keep the robots in the Steamworks, up and running. The Fallen Human’s SOULs have also been moved from Asgore’s castle, to the Feisty Five’s house, where Clover still lives.

  This version of Clover is cold and cynical, often serious and doesn’t talk very much. Though, they can still be kind and caring when they want to be. They wear Starlo’s poncho as a way to keep their adoptive father close in some way. They are also in desperate need of a hairbrush, as their hair is an absolute mess.

What does flowey think of starlo?

Flowey can't actually see Starlo, due to him being a ghost/spirit/phantom thing, but his opinion on him is mostly neutral.

When Flowey first saw Starlo he didn't like him, saw him as a hindrance more than anything as he caused Clover to stop for long periods of time in the Wild East each run.

By the time of normal UT Flowey is mostly neutral about him more than anything. If a bit curious on how he can alter Clover's path, being his parental figure and all.

Cya Space Cowboy

NAME: Starlo Sunnyside

GENDER: Male

PRONOUNS: He/Him

SEXUALITY: Bisexual

OCCUPATION: Wild East Sheriff

Also known as North Star, Starlo was the Sheriff of the Wild East. A town based on Cowboy and Western culture that he built from the ground up, and ran throughout his adolescent years.

On the night when Clover fell, Starlo convinced them to not give up their SOUL. After that, he discussed with Ceroba and Martlet on where Clover should stay, and they eventually settled on Clover living with Starlo and his posse. Where Clover ended up living, being adopted, and growing up.

Starlo met Dalv, a Vampire MONSTER Clover had befriended during their journey, who Starlo met a few day's after taking Clover in. While the two never made anything official. They may or may not have been seeing each other in private prior to the events of UDY.

During the genocide runs, Starlo was one of very few who still believed that Clover could be "Saved", and attempted to reason with them, and calm them down enough to convince them to stop killing MONSTERS.

This effort failed, and ended with Starlo's death by the hands of Clover, leaving them to a fate similar to Dusttale Papyrus.

While Starlo is dead, he is still fairly calm, and more somber than anything. He feels guilty for the death's of the other Monsters, and blames himself for Clover's insanity.

Although Starlo is fairly calm, this does not prevent him from having his own bouts of anger and insanity. Which can most easily be seen if someone harms Clover, as he still cares very deeply about his adopted child.

When Starlo does get angry, his form will become blurry, and his face be covered in shadow, with his eyes and mouth glowing white.
