Israel Adesanya KOs Paulo Costa in the 2nd Round!

Costa went out there and shat the bed. Somewhere between being Romero vs Izzy and Till trying to beat Woodley. Went out there in the 1st and just got eaten up at range with strong leg kicks. Adesanya was sharp and powerful in this one. Once he realized Costa was just going to fight him in open space, he just styled on him. Started throwing those body kicks and dancing around with straight punches right down the center. Costa never tried to pressure with volume. Just stood out at range and taunted while occasionally whiffing on a big strike. Adesanya cracks Costa with a counter right over Costa’s jab and closes the door with a hook. Costa goes down, Adesanya gets mount and hammers on him til the fight gets called off.

Jan Blachowicz KOs Dominick Reyes in the 2nd! New UFC LHW champion.

Blachowicz just punished the crap out of Reyes to the body. Hit him repeatedly with the left kicks to the front of Reyes’ body (in southpaw). Forced Reyes to circle to his left. Then he started to pour on combos, exploiting the fact that Reyes was only going one direction. He swarmed Reyes in the 2nd and rocked the crap out of Reyes. Hits Reyes with a counter right straight-left hook off a Reyes jab that floors him, and it’s over after some GnP.

Can’t believe Thiago Santos is officially the best 205er in the UFC!
