Diego Sanchez gets beat up for 2 rounds, takes DQ as Pereira knees him while he’s down.
Sanchez was on the worst end of what were 2 10-8 rounds, potentially 10-7 but is walking away with a win bonus because Michel Pereira is a fucking wild man who couldn’t resist throwing an illegal knee to a man who was almost out of the fight. Amazing.
Literally 0 reason to ever book Diego Sanchez again, especially with his new crazy ass fake ass coach.

Daniel Rodriguez guillotines Tim Means in the 2nd!
We have a new violentweight contender folks! Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of Tim Means. Rodriguez hurt Means in the closing seconds of the first round, wrapping a left hand around Means’ guard. Means survived to the 2nd but Rodriguez found his in. He landed that left hand sporadically over the 2nd round, visibly hurting means before flurrying on him. From there, Means tries to shoot and Rodriguez catches his next for the sub. Big debut win for Rodriguez. Great stuff.

Jan Blachowicz KOs Corey Anderson in the 1st Round!
Giving us something to actually take from the event! Blachowicz had tagged Corey twice early with the left hook so I was expecting him to catch him a third time and put him out. But Corey threw a really ugly leg kick from his power side and Blachowicz countered with a right hand that put Anderson down and out.
Don’t know if it’s enough to get Blachowicz a title fight, but you can’t argue he doesn’t deserve one at this point. 7-1 in his last 8 with 4 finishes. Dude has shown he’s a top 5 LHW.
I’m not willing to call Corey Anderson a “power puncher” just because he knocked out Johnny Walker. Man’s a glass cannon.
