Court McGee submits Tim Means in the 1st round
Fantastic work from McGee. Is able to close distance and get Means to the fence for the double leg and eventually gets the neck crank to end the fight. Really think Means should hang them up. Not much left in the tank at this point.

Cowboy Oliveira second round sub over Tim Means!
So Cowboy Oliveira is a very weird, squirrely kind of guy. He's earned his reputation of being a bit of a d-bag sometimes, almost like a Brazilian Maximo Blanco. At the same time, he's SUCH a fun fighter to watch. His at times wacky grappling and game based entirely around power can make you forget that he can strike when need be and when he's on weight and focused, he could be a top 10-15 type welterweight. Fun dude to watch and a tough loss for Tim Means who was never eally into it.

Tim Means (32-14-1) is a personal fav. A guy with few of the raw intangibles (athleticism, insane durability, power, etc) needed to be a competitive welterweight but because he’s got a solid skill set has carved out a good niche for himself in the UFC. A lot of respectable wins and competitive fights with “better” competition. Has been a cornerstone of the violent mid-tier of the 170lb division since moving up from 155.
Means gets a main card fight on ABC this week as he is set to face another fav of mine, Alex Morono (22-8). The two meet this Saturday (May 13) for UFC on ABC 4.
Daniel Rodriguez vs Tim Means
Quietly, Daniel Rodriguez (16-2) has put together a fantastic campaign in the UFC. He’s 6-1 in the promotion with some recognizable names on the resume like Tim Means, Kevin Lee, and Mike Perry. It hasn’t been enough to earn him a ranking yet but a win over Kevin Holland (23-7), even at catchweight, might do it for him. The two square off at UFC 279 this Saturday (Sept.10).
