doll show haul!! I also got some wigs and clothes for my new girls. I only spent $120 for all of this, plus a goodreau mim doll for $5 (not pictured cuz shes still in her carrying bag) I got some really good deals cuz we came in the afternoon!! I had such a good day!!
I bought the Kestner for part of my Halloween costume but I also love this style of doll. She's named Claudia after Claudia from interview with the vampire. My friend Connie is the president of the United federation of doll clubs and she sold her to me for $30, way under her asking price of $135!!! I had the wig on hand, but I bought her a new dress, slip, shoes and bonnet at the show. She still needs bloomers but I'll make them myself! Her arms are kinda floppy and have clearly been repaired recently and she keeps leaving sawdust, so I'm really kicking myself for not picking up any kidskin gloves to fix her with.
My partner even wanted in on it and got an orangutan plushie! Aren't they just darling?
I'm really delighted and I'm glad I went despite how exhausted I was!!!
