My silly/ not as slashy as part 1 review of Every Anderson’s UFO (1970) episode (Spoiler) Part 2- the order I used is according to Fanderson Episode Guide /Production order
11. The Square Triangle: Tell me who is the real enemy, toxic man in a relationship or alien intruder. Good moral dilemmas at the end but we all know it won’t bother Straker anyway, so why even bother. Dull episode
12. Court Martial: Time to suffer Paul Foster a bit more. Fortunately, Jackson being a slimy glenmlin he is saving the day. I think it’s a rather sweet episode showing how deep Ed care about Paul
13. Close-Up: Interesting Hard Scifi from the early 70s pov but not much plot to comment and what is it with Starker hitting on Lt. Elis? Borderline workplace sexual harassment for science sake? NOPE Again Dull Episode
14 Confetti Check AOK: The tragic life of Ed Starker. This episode make me have a head canon that Ed is autistic, living in a neurotypical world that expected him to figure out emotional interaction in an extreme situation. Good episode but a little soapy for my liking
15. E.S.P.: Seeing into the future is canon in this universe I suppose. Also,let’s threaten Paul’s life again, getting follow by creepy mindreader man. Also, Alec Freeman think devious thoughts *confirmed* - this episode is so good
16. Kill Straker: 50 Shades of Starker - no more comments I still in shock that this whole episode exists ( this episode needs its own post)
17. Sub Smash: Fuck this show is too good- you make me fucking cry watching this. The writing, the shot, the sound, this claustrophobic hellscape of an episode nailed on every level. But also they never forgot to have shirtless Paul Foster even when it got this intense
18. The Sound of Silence: Good concept, dull execution. I thought they were gonna play on the sound technique more, but what we got didn’t satisfy me. Even though it’s Paul heavy episode, it bored me to death.
19. The Cat with Ten Lives: Canon Furry Catboys episode REAL! Welcome Virginia Lake awakening your sapphic crush. Paul getting cat scratches (no it doesn’t awake anything in me)
20. Destruction: They never forget to use Paul as the bombshell of the series, do they? Let’s him seduce his way for information. I don’t see this episode’s plot caught my interest that much. We get Ed drinking which too OCC for my liking NO
21. The Man Who Came Back: I love that it is canon that both Paul and Col. Lake are actually polygamous- I think it’s rather progressive idea (the story itself isn’t )- this episode have too much workplace drama and confusing Chain of Command- if they want us to buy in Craig relationship with Col. Lake, they are more successful at making us ship Craig/John
22. The Psychobomb: Suddenly Alien can make you have superhuman abilities. Fun episode where Dr. Jackson can spill his crazy theories , nothing much to think about. Cannot have an episode without sexualise Paul Foster. Colonel Lake please ma’am I want you to also yell at me. Unpopular opinion but I prefer Col. Lake as the second in command.
23. Reflections in the Water: The alien becomes the Mysterons now? This episode is real creepy. I want them to explore this doublegagger thing more. I call it the Anderson once again predict the future much used Scifi troupe. - My dream of seeing Ed get thrown around by Paul completed
24. Timelash Live up to its reputation being the IT episode of the show. It’s a high concept scifi that doesn’t lost it edge on the characters. Also it kinda add up to my love for Virginia Lake as the best SHADO second in command
25. Mindender: The AU episode - high concept done right again. They just love traumatized Straker. Also for my slash heart, it was a choice to have the line “I need help from Paul Foster”
26. The Long Sleep: The show was on a high and im not gonna accept that we spent the last episode on a psychedelic hippie - I really want to be sad for her but she was not that interesting
I will maybe write a complete retrospective comment on the show again. The second batch of production contains some of the best I have ever watched. But also when it’s dull, it’s so DULL lol

and that's the end of UFO for me. Fun, extremely dated, came closest to scratching a TOS itch I didn't know I had.
