I have always wondered if the Riddler Mindbender roller coaster has a gift shop and if it does this is probably found there.
I want to ride the mindbender so baddddddddd omg
Side note, most DC themed areas in theme parks have riddler themed attractions. There’s others in different parks around the world, not just the coaster in six flags. He really is perfectly suited to be a attraction theme isn’t he 🤔 him and joker
i've been thinking of putting these writings about the mindbender from Mall, by Anne Swannell in 1993 on my blog for a while and i've got the free time now, so. these are everything to me and more
transcripts since i had to write them for the alts:
Mindbender 1.
If you're seventeen and need
to know who you are, you wait
in line for forty-five minutes
and fork out $3.60
to be dragged up the first peak
of this Everest of roller coasters and
dropped
with a roar that could take you straight to hell
but only pulls you up another metal mountain -
you being every Sisyphus in the world
rolled into one -
and nothing at all:
weightless and screaming
to become
weightless and screaming
to become solid;
weightless and screaming
to become solid matter,
worth your weight.
Mindbender 2.
For some, that first long pull
is time enough
to tell themselves
this was a very bad idea,
to come as close, perhaps, to prayer,
as they ever will.
As they take that first
cataclysmic plunge
some loose a primal scream
so loud, so long, they are re-born,
start life again brand new.
Some say a roller-coaster ride's
as good as sex
with someone you would die for.
Some say there are things
you don't have to do in life
and this is one.
Mindbender 3.
When they climb out
of the red and blue cars
they've got stiff necks
from bracing themselves
against death's eager suck
and tongues that can form
the word "great"
on the far side of a smile
if asked.
