the rhodebar is a rare breed that comes from rhode island red, barred plymouth rock, and golden brussbar stock. RIRs and barred rocks are american dual purpose breeds that are very common homesteading/backyard chickens, but they are also both known for higher than average aggression for the roosters, for example I've seen it recommended to give roosters of those breeds extra desensitizing time to build trust. all roosters are very posturing but rhodebars take it pretty seriously. and i think the feather patterns r pretty :3 barring is different from the mottle gene so these speckles are different than the ones on the breed i gave kev (ancona) also this is an autosexing breed which pings my brain abt my gender thoughts but dw abt it
