Okay, if you are in the Voltron fandom you may be aware of a certain video going around. I’m sorry I won’t go into further detail about that because I’m already done with this entire situation and I can’t believe I even have to make a post about it.
The reason I’m trying to express this is because this video, was sheith related. And it was reuploaded publicly by a group of Klance shippers who not only wanted to humiliate and shame this person but also the entire ship of Sheith.
And before I even go into the rant hi, I’m Oz, and my preferred ship is Klance.
But here I am to tell you why this is
Fucking disgusting
Whoever started this is not a real fan of Voltron, because they’re just spreading their hate and it’s people like that who absolutely disgust me. So many people in this fandom are toxic and fight over stupid things, most likely the Klance over sheith debate.
In this show I like the ship Klance, but I have never, NEVER, got into an argument over the ship.
BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT OVER SHIPS BECAUSE IT IS CHILDISH
Both ships, are cute! Both are great! Is my favorite ship Klance? Yes! Do I still appreciate and look at Sheith art and read some Sheith fan fiction? Yes! Because I’m a multi shipper and I appreciate everyone’s interests!
And look, I’m not telling every klance shipper to look at Sheith art, and every sheith shipper to look at Klance art? No, because everyone should look at whatever content they want to, I just like to look at both.
What I am telling people is that bashing someone for something just because they ship something different is disgusting and horrid and toxic behavior, and not what being a fan of a show is about.
If you’re a klance shipper and you bash Sheith shippers, you’re toxic.
If you’re a Sheith shipper and bash Klance shippers, you’re toxic.
No one should bash ANYONE for their choice in ship, because that’s just the wrong thing to do.
As said before I am a klance shipper, and my closest friend is a Sheith shipper. We’ve both watched Voltron for the extent it’s been on, and we have never ever gotten into shipping wars.
Why?
Because we are mature enough to either respect our own ships or appreciate the others ship!
She sends me both Klance and Sheith art, and I love it!
I send her both sheith and klance art, she loves it!
Why should we fight each other when we are all on the same side, it’s fucking ridiculous.
