The Tale of the Vicious Sleeping Bag Bug: Round 2 of the Battle Royale

So 2 years after the vicious sleeping bag bug attack of 2011, I've experienced another attack.

17 swollen & incredibly itchy (spider) bites, 10 of which are on my feet. I don't understand why it's ALWAYS ME!!!

So I was camping and dumb butt Rob didn't bring anything for sleeping so I folded up my sheet for him to have as a pillow. But then it got cold so I got in my sleeping bag. And that was when the battle began.  I thought I felt something biting my feet, but I was cold and I figured I was being paranoid because let's face it- I have reason to be. But then I decided to get out of my sleeping bag and be cold instead of risk it.  So here I am pretty cold & missing my one chance at warmth, my sheet, because Rob is a dumb butt. So I wake up in the morning look down at my feet and see them covered it red, swollen bug bites. Then I proceeded to tell the story of my 2011 phantom sleeping bag bug, which left red, itchy welts all over my torso for 6 months, scars for 1 year after that, and intermittently flamed up throughout that whole period.

But those were on my torso, which is preferable to feet because now I can't wear socks or shoes or go for a run or anything because it bothers the bites too much.

WHAT THE HECK. WHY DO BUGS LOVE ME SO MUCH!!
