I can't actually remember when I realised asexuallity was a thing. Even being involved with the Gender, sexuality alliance club I wasn't aware of asexuallity. I remember it was never around upon or spoken bad about, but on the other hand it was never mentioned.
At all.
We did a timeline of LGBT+ history, and not one point was asexuallity. I feel like a lot of people don't realise they are asexual because it's not mentioned, I probably would have figured it out a lot earlier if I had a chance of hearing about it or what it was.
