My sister asked for a few peppers to help her in making the salsa out of the pile of banana legs I gave her; I picked these yesterday morning. 😂. Another third or so just split and tossed. (Rained for few days again) I did however learn something. If one expects rain for few days, the tomatoes do not like this; -the fruit is a one way valve. -any applied water can be forced into the fruit, thus constant rain and splitting of said fruit. (Watering management is very important w tomatoes) By allowing the older, maybe already split, fruit on the vine I noticed that if it rained again the vine would pump water into the same already split fruit and maybe only one new one. Normally I'd remove those in between rains, but then I found if another heavy watering came, there'd be way more split of the new ones. Even if their still unripe. Some of the "double" split ones were pretty squishy to pull off, or almost just shake the vine And most of those fell off.
