I'm just rewatching the Kmicic Krew party scene and keep noticing cool tiny things in it

A lot of it is made of these really long slow takes and camera pans where everyone is supposed to be doing stuff even when the viewer isn't actively looking at them, take after convincing take, and it's just so 😙 good 🤌. Modern movies (with their constant quick cuts and closeups) barely do this anymore.

Apart from everything I snapped for the Rekuć gifset, and every shot of Rekuć I left out, there is also:

Uhlik picking up and hanging up Kmicic's fur coat

dogs just wanting outta here (i hope the actor dogs were treated ok)

Uhlik quietly joining the rest in laughing at Ranicki (who just toasted to a dead guy), looking at him like "yeah dude r u stoopid?"

when Kmicic starts hugging everyone, Zend very decisively stands up, but is immediately distracted by his meat again, and Kmicic has to bat his hand out of the way to hug him

when Kulwiec and Kokoszka push Rekuć away (🥺) they almost knock over a candlestick and make sure it's steady before going back to cuddling

followed by this (Zend ruined the lyrical mood by going CAW CAW, the naughty boy)

and Ranicki gets a smack too for starting up "Jestem sobie panem"

back to our regularly scheduled this

and yeah it's not a small detail but also this!! dammit why are y'all so horrible and yet so cute

while Ranicki and Kulwiec are making a bet (MIĘDZY ROGI!!!), the ttttottly ssssoberr Kmicic spends the 10 seconds he has before his cue trying to get his saber into the sheath and missing

when Kulwiec hits the bullseye without aiming, Ranicki is like "okayyyy I think I suddenly have shit to do byeeeee"

after they hit a portrait, Uhlik tries his best to look appalled with his axe still in his mouth

when Kokoszka screams at being bitten, one of the dogs decides this joint is too loud for its delicate ears and leaves the other dog to finish the meal

aaaand Kmicic's absolute face at the prospect of babes. (At least Oleńka didn't see this... ya boi is a sеxual predator, sorry about that)
