Wow hello everyone! My name is Val, and I’m freshly back into RPs after taking a short break. I’m really excited to be back and to be here because I know I’ll love all of you! As for characters, they’ll mostly all be new, or revamped, so please bear as I discover them and get comfortable with them. Anyway, I only have Luke as of now, but I do plan on making another(probably sending the app later this morning).
✧ ━━━ 「 BOB MORLEY, male, he/him 」did you hear that LUKE REINHART just arrived at the mutant underground? I heard the TWENTY-SEVEN is on the run FROM HIS EX GIRLFRIEND’S ANTI-MUTANT FAMILY. It’s such a shame it had to come to that, but we’re glad they’re able to bring their ENHANCED STRENGTH to our team, they’re sure to be a great addition to the rebellion. i’ve heard rumors going around that they’re skeptical and arrogant, as well as protective and selfless. in due time, we’re bound to unravel the truth. will HERACLES survive the war? ╳ CHARACTER AESTHETIC: broken bones, fresh pasta, holes in walls, cinnamon buns, the smell of fire, sunrises, standing in the rain, always being organized
No one really knows where Luke came from. He was left outside of the Reinhart’s door as a very young baby. However, whoever did it was aware of what he was, and what the Reinhart’s were: all mutants. When Mama Reinhart found him, she just instantly knew he was like them, and they decided to take him in.
Not even a year later, they welcomed a biological son, and raised both boys as if they were their own.
Their parents kept the fact they were mutants secret, up until a 6 years old Luke punched a hole in the wall. After that, they felt somewhat forced to tell them the truth. Which was a little harder to explain, since Luke was not their actual son.
Luke was fascinated by his power at first, he really loved being different, despite knowing he had to keep it secret. But he soon realized he had troubles controlling his strength.
Luke had some anger issues when he was younger. He was angered easily and that would sometime be violent. Knowing that wasn’t safe with his power, his parents quickly made sure he’d be followed for that. Which he has, and is now much more in control of his anger. aka doesn’t throw fits anymore.
Once he got his problem under control, he became a much better person, and would rather use his power to help others. He actually became a lot more concerned about others’ safety rather than his own.
Had a pretty regular schooling, tried to keep away from any sports teams despite loving it since he was scared it’d be harder to control his strength. His grades were not the best, but they were enough to lead him to pre-meds.
There, he met this very very special girl. Things escalated pretty fast, and crumbled down almost as quickly. It was his first time meeting her parents, and it didn’t take long before he was uncovered. Her parents, mostly the father, were anti-mutants, although not part of the sentinel. They still were skeptical about most people that walked in their house, and often tried to push them to their limits until they’d accidentally show their true nature. That’s what happened. It took time, of course, but at one point, his anger problems just resurfaced, and knocking his fist on the table, he made it bend. They didn’t call the sentinels on him though. Instead, knowing he had a family full of mutants, they called the sentinels on them. After, of course, forcing him to tell them where they lived. Once it was done, they just let him go, with the promise of never coming back here again.
First thing he did was try to call his parents and his brother, but no one picked up. Alarmed, he drove all the way there, only to find the house surrounded by sentinels. They were either trapped, or gone, and either way, he couldn’t take the sentinels all by himself. So he left.
The next few weeks, he was constantly moving. He had no proof he could trust his ex’s parents, and didn’t want to take risks. Up until he came across another mutant, who told him about the Underground. And now, he’s been here for a little over 3 years, and doesn’t plan to move out until it’s safe outside.
Random facts:
absolutely adores pasta
what he misses the most is to sit on the dock and watch the sunrise
never even finished his first year of pre-med, so he only had very basic knowledge
still hoping his family managed to get away
would put your safety before his
I haven’t worked on wanted connections yet so hmu and we can brainstorm! Or like this and I’ll come to you!
CATHERINE ‘ CHARLIE ‘ COLTRANE ( CARLOTTA ROSADO SOLANO )
adria arjona, cis female, she & her.
age: twenty-seven
running from: her past & sentinel services
ability: dynamic camouflage
alias: the chameleon
negative traits: patronizing & reticent
positive traits: maverick & self sufficient.
TRIGGER MENTIONS: death, drugs mentions, gangs ( sort of, not really ), mention of i.c.e. and deportation.
how many biological mutant parents do they have?
one, their mother was a mutant, though unbeknownst to everyone in the family aside from her father and her mother’s family, this was kept hidden to her and still to this day, it was never something she was told upfront.
has your character always known they possess the mutant gene? if not, what’s their discovery story? how old were they? how did they find out?
no, she didn’t. it wasn’t until a fight broke out locally, she was somewhere she shouldn’t have been and after running for what seemed like ages, she finally found cover and IN DESPERATION she prayed that something would help her which eventually resulted in her camouflaging with the walls of a building. ever since, she’s taken full advantage of her abilities and while still living with her family, she kept it a secret, especially after learning the truth from someone on her mother’s side of the family.
does your character have any physical giveaways?
that would sort of defeat the purpose of her ability, now, wouldn’t it? so, no.
BONUS QUESTIONS.
If a student at Hogwarts, Charlie would’ve been either a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff, though I’d definitely say it’s leaning more towards the Badgers.
Myer Briggs to be decided.
BIO TO BE WRITTEN. PINTERST BOARD here. Some basic facts below:
due to her mother dying at a very young age, carlotta was raised for the most part by her five older brothers and father, having very few motherly role models in her life.
back home, in guatemala, her father is a very well known owner of a cartel and so, she spent a lot of her time mixed up with some very bad people, despite not being involved herself. though it was intended that she eventually get involved, before her father was able to destroy her completely, she managed to escape by faking her death before fleeing to america.
having an old friend on her mother’s side that lived in the US’s assistance, she was able to use him to help her relocate herself and create an entirely new identity for herself eventually changing her name to Catherine Coltrane, with the nickname Charlie.
years and years later, an entirely new person, charlie worked as a crime scene investigator for the police department, she was good at what she did, and she was shaping a new life to herself until a discovery of who she really was, and really related to came to light for someone in the department who eventually got in touch with a SERIES of different law enforcement agencies, nearly resulting in her deportation.
the only thing that stopped this, was the discovery of her mutant ability, eventually leading to another faked death by the government this time ( during a mission ), and a one way ticket to sentinel services.
now she’s apart of the escaped mutants, desperate for a place to hide before finding herself having to desperately fling herself back into her father and families’ lifestyle for her own survival....something she’d much rather not.
✧ ━━━ 「 CHLOE BENNET, feminine, she/her 」did you hear that SAMANTHA “SUNNY” DAI just arrived at the mutant underground? I heard the TWENTY-FOUR YEAR OLD is on the run FROM SENTINEL SERVICES AFTER ASSAULTING SEVERAL AGENTS. It’s such a shame it had to come to that, but we’re glad they’re able to bring their PHOTOKINESIS to our team, they’re sure to be a great addition to the rebellion. i’ve heard rumors going around that they’re reckless & frustrated, as well as spirited & creative. in due time, we’re bound to unravel the truth. will NEON survive the war?
╳ CHARACTER AESTHETIC: Paint covered fingertips, rebels with a cause, flickering neon signs, distant sirens, the rattle of spray cans, ripped smiles, heavy boots, flashes of purple, yelled protests, fingerless gloves, ripped jeans, heavy boots on the approach, misplaced anger, bruised knuckles, black leather jackets.
My name is Ily and I’m a Roleplay Addict. So this is my fourth (and hopefully final) character to throw into the mix; Samantha ‘Sunny’ Dai. Yes, terrible pun is terrible.
Born and raised in Manhattan, New York. Sam comes from an affluent family that, unknown to her for many years, secretly used their mutant powers to quietly amass and funnel money and influence for pro-mutant causes.
Fearing that a child would inadvertently blurt out their secret, she was understandably raised in ignorance of her mutant potential.
To be honest, she was actually pretty sheltered from everything back then. Her parents purposefully going out of their way to ensure she was isolated from the mutant agenda and almost everything else.
Unfortunately as a result, she kinda grew up to be that terrible socialite brat you read about in the tabloids. Bucking at the authority of her parents, acting out where possible, whole rebel without a cause cliche.
An artistic kid, a lot of her acting out revolved around tagging. Making a pretty minor, but accomplished name for herself within certain circles under the alias ‘Sunny’. Local police, included.
She also fell into the wrong crowd of fellow rich ne’er-do-wells as she entered her early-to-mid teens. Predictably hitting the underage drinking and party scenes with gusto. It was during one particularly memorable drunken house that her powers first manifested, placing a whole new definition to the term ‘flashing’. Thankfully, most people either put it down to an elaborate prank or were simply too drunk to really notice.
These little light bursts persisted over the coming weeks, however. Becoming more and more noticeable until a tearful Sam revealed herself to her parents, fearing the worst. Part of her would’ve preferred condemnation as opposed to finding out that most of her life was built upon a lie.
Knowing it would only be a matter of time before their secret was revealed, her parents abruptly sold their real estate in the city, moving out to the rural sticks of the state. There they helped Sam develop a degree of control over her abilities and kinda gave her a crash course in the mutant scene and the work they’d been trying to pull off over the years.
As with many mutants, Dallas changed everything for her. Suddenly she found herself with a cause and something to fight for. While her parents were fine with passively promoting the mutant cause, she felt she needed to be a more active participant. Joining rallies, protests and honestly going out of her way to stick it to the government jackboots.
Some destruction of public and private property later, to say nothing of the assault of several sentinel service agents, Sam has found herself on the run. Landing within the last few weeks at the Underground compound.
So, yeah. Rough and terrible? But hopefully enough to give you a general idea of the character. All around rabble-rouser, riot grrrl and potential brotherhood material in the making. Connections would be adored; Friends, enemies, exes/interests and everything in between.
Hit me up.
✧ ━━━ 「 SOPHIE TURNER, female, she/her 」did you hear that BEATRICE FREEMAN just arrived at the mutant underground? I heard the TWENTY-ONE is on the run FROM SENTINELS SENT AFTER HER FOLLOWING HER ACCIDENTALLY SHOWING HER POWERS. It’s such a shame it had to come to that, but we’re glad they’re able to bring their MERMAID PHYSIOLOGY to our team, they’re sure to be a great addition to the rebellion. i’ve heard rumors going around that they’re stubborn and reckless, as well as curious and passionate. in due time, we’re bound to unravel the truth. will SIREN survive the war? ╳ CHARACTER AESTHETIC: clothes on the floor, sea salt, chocolate fondue, pastel colors, messy hair, glitter bath bomb, ripped gowns, food fights, sugar highs, knee socks, skirts and sneakers
Only child, raised by her father and her aunt, both humans. Her mother was a mutant, but her father wasn’t. Sadly, Beatrice’s mother died while giving birth, so the first few years, she was only raised by her father.
He tried his best to help discover her powers, but he really didn’t know much so she was never much in control of them. The best he could do was to get falsified papers to exempt her from any swimming classes in school. Or really just anything related to water.
But falsified papers like this were expensive, and it was hard to repay the loan he got for them. The last thing she remembers from her dad, is him getting a called, his face instantly changing, and then calling his sister. He said “You’ll stay at auntie’s place tonight, I’ll pick you up tomorrow.” But he never did. Nor did he come back the next day, or the following ones. She has no idea what happened to him, but she assumed he was murdered, or at least something around those lines.
So after that, Beatrice was raised by her aunt, who was a very nice lady, and was aware of her condition - she’d always been close to the family. But she did not have any more ideas what to do about her powers, except to keep on using the papers. Sure, it brought suspicions to the other kids and the teachers, but nothing serious about it happened until a few years later.
While she used to be a fairly normal and average kid - only had a few, but close friends - she started changing in high school. Her confidence kicked in, hard, falling in the spotlight of the popular crowd. She wasn’t much into it at first, but she soon realized she was either with them, or against them. So she followed, slowly turning from the sweet and innocent kid to a more reckless, headstrong, and somewhat bitchy girl. Nothing too bad though, just enough to keep her in the popular crowd.
But you can never trust those people, and she learned that the hard way in her senior year. While by this point, she knew she had to stay away from water in public, she still accepted to go a day at the beach with her friends. It went well at first, all she had to do was stay away from the water. But as it got darker, they planned a trap. One of them was to bring her behind a large rock, somewhat a little closer to the water. But when they got there, some taller, bigger guys were waiting. After that, all they had to do was drag by force to the water. Kicking and screaming was useless against them, and she could only watch as the water got closer and closer. They had the clear intention to push her in the water, but as they did, she unconsciously made the water split as to avoid it. She barely had time to look at them with a horrified look before the water fell back in place. Moved by the wave, and knowing it wouldn’t be long until her tail appeared, all she could do was to swim as far away as she could from the beach.
The next few days, she couldn’t even make it to school, and got her aunt to call the school to tell them she was sick. But that didn’t stop her ‘friends’. While her aunt was at work, Beatrice heard knocks on the door, and quickly closed the door after opening it to find her so called friends. That didn’t stop the knocking though. They kept on going for a long time, until they slowed, and ultimately, she just heard “We know what you are, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.” And then nothing. Looking by the window, she saw them leaving, but the fear wasn’t. She had to get away from there.
She didn’t wait until her aunt came back, only leaving a small goodbye note on the kitchen table. She only packed the minimum, deciding it be better to only carry a bag. She wasn’t going anywhere, but she listened to all the rumors she heard about the mutants and the Underground. She wasn’t sure about the place at first, but seeing as she had clearly no safe place to go, she gave it a try.
It is hard for her to stay there, and sometimes sneaks out, despite it being potentially dangerous.

Here are a few points about my newest muse !
Literally all he ever wanted was to help people
He joined the Sentinel Services because he, like so many others, actually believed they were trying to do good for the Mutants.
Literally was a home visit officer for most of his career there. When people suspected they had the X-Gene, he was one of the sunny faces sent to fill out the check list.
After a promotion to a more hands on, field officer type position, he found out what the Services was really up to and was horrified.
Broke several Mutants out of custody, and was able to conveniently misplace a few files. However it didn’t take too long for his superiors to catch on about his extrodinarily high rate of loosing subjects and he was forced to flee for his safety.
He greatly regrets his involvement in the incarceration of innocent Mutants, even though it was not something he was aware of.
A few connection Ideas!
A mutant he did a home visit for that led to their arrest
Humans, all the humans
Maybe one of the people he helped escape from custody

hi, guys !! 😍 it’s been a long time coming, but i’m finally here. my name is shay, i’m eighteen, residing in the central timezone of the usa, and i’m heaps excited to be here and introduce my mutant daughter, jt. if anyone would be interested in plots, both new and old, then feel free to hit me up !! otherwise, a biography is listed below the cut:
trigger warnings: murder, gore, guns mention
taking the world by storm with squealed cries and piercing shrieks, jasmine tucker immediately obtained the crown to become a force to be reckoned with born on a dusk fallen evening. willed with a strong mind and an even stronger attitude, the young girl wasted absolutely no time in coming into her own. for instance, thinking outside the box instantaneously grew as one of her most favorite past times, especially so once the mutant would catch onto her ability of rifting circumstances into her favor. finding her reverie more often than not traveling to areas which happened to be unfathomable, imagine jasmine’s purely unadulterated glee upon finding out she could mold situations with a mere musing.
bearing the privilege of having two loving mutant parents at her side — one which manipulated matter and another whom absorbed others’ abilities — jasmine was only encouraged to build up on her skillset. however, such seemingly picture perfect conditions would hastily deteriorate within a matter of moments, before jasmine could even alter fate itself into coinciding with her own desires. in the form of two .45 caliber bullets lodged into the flesh of her unguarded beloveds would render jasmine into a bitter and hate enflamed reality warper — a rather large inconvenience for those abhorrent up a possible mutant uprising.
immediately placed into the foster system, only to be taken up rather suspiciously quick by a non mutant, jasmine’s rage only seemed to boil to outrageous levels, leading her to act out on numerous occasions. on the other hand, it seemed such simmering dislike could only be appeased in the form of yet another mutant. soft features and delicate tendencies taming her feral state, it was safe to assume jasmine was smitten. still, such revelations were not yet to be completely over.
while having emerged from a deep slumber during no specific hour of darkness, on her trek to the restroom in the dead of night, jasmine would undoubtedly reach her final breaking point. between hushed whispers and hummed utterances, jasmine would collect enough evidence that her foster father was responsible for countless mutant deaths, leading her to assume the potential, yet worst possibility — her parents were one of said deaths. in a fit of fury, jasmine utilized her ability, bending the realm by which her foster father happened to be placed in, thus driving him into an uncontrollable haze of craze. by the end of it all, he was sprawled dead upon the floor, a pair of scissors bloodied in his grip while his neck appeared gashed open, ichor freely flowing into a pool beneath him.
to this very day, alongside her being her longtime companion by which seemingly never ending feelings are harbored, jasmine relentlessly runs. she does not regret her previous actions by any means, though god forbid both ever run into anyone who dare underestimate their girth, otherwise they may just prepare for the exact fate.
✧ ━━━ 「 ARDEN CHO, female, she/her 」that’s ARWEN DAE SHEEN, one of the original founders of the mutant underground. I heard the TWENTY-EIGHT year old helped in creating the network because SHE COULDN’T SEE MORE MUTANTS SUFFERING. around here, they’re greatly respected with their WEAPON SUMMONING MAGIC and are often times referred to as ARSENAL around the complex. they’re seen as the GUARD around here, so be sure to show them some respect, despite the rumors that they can be clumsy and fierce, as well as kindhearted and protective. ╳ CHARACTER AESTHETIC: geeky shirts, flower crowns, colored clothes, ombre hair, sugar highs, arrow tattoos, broken nails, wedgie boots, glow-in-the-dark star stamps
South Korean child, Dae was born to a human father and a mutant mother. Her father always knew about her mother, and was entirely fine with it.
Being a mutant, her mother wanted her to know about the gene as soon as she could, thinking it would grant her better control. So when she was 4, her mother told her about the fact she most likely had the mutant gene as well.
About a year and a half later, Dae summoned a knife at the table because her mother forgot to give her one. So after that, Dae’s mother took it upon herself to teach her how to control it(because she clearly didn’t want to accidentally summon a knife at school).
She had a few slip offs, and could only summon small knives. But as she grew older, the weapons she could summon grew in size, as well as becoming more diversified.
As for the rest of her childhood, she was able to live like a normal kid. She had a lot of friends, and tried to miss nothing of her childhood.
Her mother was proud, not only of her power, but how well she lived with it, and was able to keep the secret. To her, it was of great importance it remained secret. Not only because she feared people’s reaction, but she knew there were some people after them. It was like a witch hunt of mutants, and she wanted Dae to remain safe from any of it.
But no one’s perfect. And with how much Dae can ramble, she might’ve mentioned she was a mutant in the middle of a conversation. Her friends didn’t believe her, but someone overheard her. And that was the end of her safety.
Nothing happened at first, but her mother said it might’ve been because they needed proofs, to make sure they were really mutants. For safety, they moved town, but Dae wasn’t to go the same town as them. Her father knew someone in America, mutant supporter, and she was to live with them.
Upon arriving - illegally, of course, they couldn’t risk her being sent back to her homeland - Dae and her new ‘adopted’ father planned a story. Of course, she was to be the adopted daughter, but at 16, it was somehow harder to make it believable. So they kept part of the truth: that she was his friend’s daughter. But what they changed is that her parents died in a car crash, and he was the closest family. And in order to make it slightly harder for anyone to find her, she changed her first name to Arwen.
Why Arwen? Because she’s a huge fan of Tolkien and that character was her favorite. Not to mention, pretty badass. But she said her parents were the fans, and it was her birth name.
So, Arwen started in american schools at 16, but didn’t go to higher studies after high school. Instead, she picked a job as a waitress in a small restaurant. And she was horrible. Well, mostly because she’d drop plates more often than others. But the clients loved her, the boss loved her, so she stayed.
Up until she saw a younger mutant who had sadly been unable to contain their power refused entrance. She was almost done with her shift, but when it ended, she left her uniform there. She was 20 at that time, and it was also the time she her adopted father’s place. After that event, she took it on herself to travel around the country and help younger mutants in need.
Call it chance or fate encounter, Arwen met up with 11 important people, and we know what happened after.
Random facts:
Although she’s quite skilled in combats, outside of combats, she can be really clumsy.
She much prefer swords to any firearms, only using them if required.
Cake is the way to her heart.
She LOVES ombre hair, and might dye it to a different color quite often.
Even though she’s kind to most, she will show a fierce attitude if anyone threatens those she cares. And she cares about A L L mutants.
