Hey guys. My University is doing a drive to raise supplies for the people of Houston on the 31st.

I’m sure you guys have been keeping up with the hurricane in Houston. So here’s another opportunity to help.

My school, the University of the Incarnate Word, in San Antonio, Texas will be holding a supply drive on August 31st for the people in Houston that have been affected by the disaster. My professor who’s helping organize it wanted me to do whatever I could to help, so I’ve been posting about it everywhere I can.

I was going to go shopping for supplies tomorrow to donate to the drive, and was wondering if anyone wanted to help. I’ll take donations to my PayPal to use on supplies when I shop for them tomorrow. Every little bit will be spent on supplies.

Normally I’d probably try and set up a crowdfunding thing for this, but it’s kind of short notice, and I haven’t used one of those sites before.

I’ll be taking donations until 3:00 PM (US Central time) on August 30th, as that’s when I’ll be going shopping for the supplies. After that point, I’ll be removing the link to my PayPal from this post and Anyone who donates to my PayPal past that time will be refunded their payment.

If you don’t trust this, which I totally understand if you don’t, I’ll at least ask you to donate to the Red Cross, since that’s who will be giving the supplies to.
