Week 2, Day 5
Didn’t post yesterday, but I got up and hit the weights. It felt so good using my body to move things. It made me carry my head up all day as I had the gentle reminders that I pushed my body first thing in the morning. I stayed under my caloric goals and the scale reflected that this morning (unofficially, I am down just over 10 pounds!).
This morning I got up and continued on With C25K. Since I was sick last week and the beginning of this week, I made the decision on Wednesday to continue W1 instead of skipping to week 2. So, I closed out W1 this morning and crushed it! My body felt good (albeit slow), my breathing was on point, and I just felt great all around. I was able to push it farther than I have to date. Made me feel really good.
It is important to remember to take things one day at a time. Today builds on yesterday and serves as the foundation for tomorrow. Progress is putting one foot infront of another to achieve forward momentum.
