Hey, I did go through some questions to see if this had been asked before, Are the carbon bonts vegan friendly? Can you link me to where I can buy in the uk without paying loads of shipping cost? I'm preferably after semi custom.
All of Bonts semi-custom boots CAN be vegan friendly. When you are picking all of your semi custom options, choose either microfiber or Durolite for each part of the boot.
As for somewhere in the UK, I’m honestly not sure, but if anyone who reads this knows of a place, please let us know!
Tiger Bay B's vs. Wakey Wheeled Cats
For anyone who may have missed it on our Facebook, Twitter etc, the Tiger Bay Brawlers B team took on the Wakey Wheeled Cats on Saturday in Huddersfield.
This was the first B team bout of 2012, and only the second B team bout ever.. which makes it even more exciting that WE WON!
The final score was 233 - 133 to Tiger Bay Brawlers B team, a true testament to the teamwork and communication they've been working so hard on in the lead up to this game.
Awards were:
Best jammer: Ava Assassin
Best blocker: Pip
MVP: Brock n Roller
Best boutfit: Ava Assassin (with her leggings collection there was never any contest!)
Spirit of the game: Torrible
The Spirit of the Game awarded is a new one to us. It's for a team to present to one of their own team-members to recognise her calmness, league-mindedness, effort, positivity and attitude on the day/during the bout. That skater who most embodies, as the name states, the spirit of the game.
We awarded ours to Torrible because a) she had an absolute stormer of a bout (29 point power jam, anyone?) and b) she is always a pleasure to be on track with. She's always smiling and that kind of positivity is infectious on the bench!
Massive thanks to Captain Thrill Collins and bench management team Kid Block and Boba Fettish for keeping everyone calm and getting us ready! Also, very grateful to Wakey for having us come play, putting on a great bout, being lovely and for great hospitality!
