a/n: ofc u can be 🕊️! anon, so happy to write this, ran to my laptop to sit down with this one. I think we all wish we had someone as nice as Arthur to comfort us on our periods
requests are open and i'm happy to write whatever, hope you enjoy xx
You were lying on the couch, curled up under a soft blanket, staring at the ceiling with a dull ache pressing through your lower abdomen and lower back. The cramps made every movement uncomfortable, and even the thought of standing up felt like too much effort. The quiet hum of Arthur editing his video in the other room reached you through the thin walls, a small reminder of normalcy in an otherwise uncomfortable day.
A few minutes later, he appeared, stepping lightly into the living room, headphones around his neck. “Hey,” he said softly, glancing at you with concern. “How are you feeling?”
You shifted slightly under the blanket. “Not great,” you admitted quietly.
He nodded and sat down beside you, careful to give you space. “Do you want me to stay?”
You didn’t have to think. “Yes,” you whispered, letting yourself sink a little closer to him.
Arthur reached over and pulled the blanket around both of you so you were nestled together. His hand rested lightly on your back, gentle and steady. “I’ll stay,” he said. “You don’t have to do anything. Just… rest.”
You let out a small, tired sigh, relaxing against him. There was a quiet comfort in his presence, in the way he didn’t try to fix anything or force a conversation. He just existed beside you, calm and unwavering, and somehow that made the ache in your stomach feel a little less heavy.
After a moment, he shifted slightly to brush a loose strand of hair from your face. “I can make you something warm, if you like,” he offered.
You nodded, muffled against his shoulder. “That would be… really nice.”
Arthur got up quietly and returned a few minutes later with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. He handed it to you carefully, letting you take it first. You blew on it before taking a sip, feeling the warmth spread slowly through your chest.
He settled back beside you, tucking you gently against him. “I can keep you company while you drink that,” he said softly. “No need to talk if you don’t want to.”
You rested your head on his chest, listening to the rhythm of his heartbeat. “You don’t even know how much I needed this,” you murmured.
“I think I do,” he said quietly. “And I’ll stay here as long as you need. You don’t have to do anything”
The house was quiet except for the soft tapping of his fingers on the laptop as he worked on his video, and the faint hiss of your breath. You sipped the hot chocolate slowly, savoring the warmth, and felt the tension in your body start to ease.
Arthur shifted slightly, draping an arm around you, holding you close without any pressure. You leaned further into him, feeling the comfort in the simple presence of someone who cared so deeply. You didn’t have to explain the pain or apologize for your mood; he understood without words.
"You know I read orgasms help with cramps" Arthur blurted out of the blue with a smirk on his face as he looked down at you, playing with your hair in his lap.
"Are you serious Arthur, shut up!" You hissed nudging a pillow into his face as he laughed.
summary: you are an influencer from london who has been invited to come onto the sidemens show "inside". you assume it will be boring && expect nothing of it until you meet the man of your dreams.
content warnings: none for this part !
author’s note: PINK: YOU & BLUE: GEORGE!! i have never uploaded from my phone before so expect this to be messy and ugly - _ - , however !! i am so excited to start writing and i hope u loev it <3 if u do, there will be more parts incoming !! reqs open
This feels like prison. In fact, you’re ninety percent sure prison would be less depressing.
You really need to learn how to say no to people. You’ve been close friends with the Sidemen for a few years now, so you trust them with everything.
After this, you’re never trusting them again.
The set that you’re in—which looks like a house from the camera angles—is mostly purple. It’s colorful, bright and enthusiastic, yet so depressing.
There’s not a single noise around you besides your own feet shuffling out of the elevator and the camera crew around you murmuring under their breath.
You drag your small suitcase lazily behind you, looking around the room silently. There’s a metal detector, which is never a good sign, and a conveyor belt that you assume will take your things away from you.
You frown, glancing down to the stickers on your suitcase. You can’t believe you have to part ways with your stuff. Your hair brush, your clothes, your phone.
This is a great opportunity, but damn is it a difficult one.
You step through the metal detector, grimacing when the alarm rings through your ears. Such a random thing to add to the set.
Then, you pick up your suitcase and place it on the conveyor belt. You give it a small wave, which will be a little awkward to witness when you watch the show months later, but it’s sad.
Besides, the crew told you to make up a conversation with yourself. Apparently you’re the first one to arrive.
Always a joy.
“All of my fans are here.” You say, glancing around the hallway.
There’s nobody there. Ha ha.
You glance up to the cameras on the wall, side eyeing each one as you give yourself the grand tour. You cannot believe that this is your house for the next seven days.
It’s been ten minutes and you’re already ready to leave.
“Could have at least added some music. This is so depressing.” You sigh, throwing your hands up in the air to emphasise your point.
Next up are the bedrooms. Calling them horrifying would be an understatement. They’re outrageous.
It looks like something out of Harry Potter. Except instead of being in Gryffindor, you’re in a fucking prison cell.
You sink down onto your chosen bed, lightly bouncing on the mattress to test the level of comfort it offers. You’re disappointed, but not surprised.
The sheets are dry, the mattress is a brick, and the pillows are so thin and rough that you fear you might cry.
Or become severely sleep deprived.
Or both.
“Couldn’t imagine being a murderer. Imagine having to sleep on something like this for your entire life. Just not worth it, really.” You shake your head, smoothing down the white sheets beneath you.
“Do I at least get a pen pal?” You sound a little crazy, and you’re not too sure why you’re dragging on this conversation with yourself.
Most of it will get cut anyway.
ROOM 19: Hi, I’m y/n, I’m 24 and I make videos on the internet. Mostly youtube, but I do dabble in tiktok and twitch sometimes.
You take a quick look into the bathrooms, which unironically seem to be the fanciest part of the house.
Then, you flop onto the couch in the main room with an exaggerated oof sound. You swing your arm over the back of the couch, drag your nails across the pillows, and sigh dramatically.
ROOM 19: I have a small spending addiction on the outside, I won’t lie. Like, it’s actually kind of bad, bro. It’s mostly like—I dunno—clothes and stuff. I think I’ll do okay, though. One million is a lot of fucking money. I’m competitive, so I think I’ll be quite bossy, which a lot of people won’t like. I’ll have to tone it down a little.
You can already hear Stephen’s stupid comments about you being boring. Luckily, the two of you are good mates. Hopefully he doesn’t shred you to pieces like he will in the upcoming charity match.
ROOM 19: I’ll be fine without my phone. I think it’s the least of my worries. I’m not on it much anyway—mostly for work. I’m a lot more chronically offline than people would think. Besides, it’s good to get away from all of that stuff. The hate, the stupid comments. It’s nice to be yourself for once.
In the distance, you can hear a muffled voice. It’s deeper than yours, a lot more southern, and definitely unfamiliar.
You jump up from the couch, padding your feet across the room.
“All my fans are here! Hi guys, go on, take a picture.” You raise a brow, biting back a laugh.
That’s your joke. Thief.
You tip toe out of the main room, peeking your head around the corner.
There he is.
He’s looking around the place, but stops dead in his tracks when he sees you across the hall.
“Oh!” He laughs, meeting you in the middle and pulling you in for a hug. “Hey. I thought I was first.”
You hum, patting his back to be friendly. “You thought wrong.”
You pull away after a moment, giving him a small smile.
“I’m y/n. What’s your name?” You ask, already walking away from him to head back into the main room.
He follows quickly after you, almost like a lost pup.
“Uh–George.” He nods, smoothing down his shirt. “Looks like a prison in here.”
ROOM 19: Hi, uh–I’m George. I’m 24 and I make Youtube and Tiktok videos. I don’t really know why I’m here, I guess it’s just the perks of being best friends with KSI.
You decide to give George a tour of the house, which he happily accepts.
ROOM 19: I think this is a cool idea. Doing challenges, making friends, not going on my phone for a week. I’m not on it too much anyway. Okay, that’s a lie. Well, I can’t wait to spend two grand on a twirl or something. Nah, I’m kidding. I don’t really spend a lot of money on the outside, so I think that will stay the same on the inside. Hopefully.
“And then the bedrooms are in here. Trigger warning, they look terrifying.” You breathe out a laugh, letting him enter first.
He has the reaction you’d expect. His nose scrunches up, and he glances over his shoulder to look at you with disbelief.
“I think I’d rather sleep on the floor.” He scoffs. “Ooh, two double beds.”
George wiggles his eyebrows at you, and you shake your head. Absolutely not. You will not flirt with this man for five seconds of screentime.
“Which one is yours?” He asks, scanning them all.
You point towards your bed, and he dives onto the one beside it. Your lips straighten, eyebrows furrowed.
Your sarcastic reply is cut off when you hear screaming from the hallway. You and George share a look, before realising there are more people here.
In fact, everyone is here. They’re all in the main room, gathered on the couch.
Once you and George walk in beside each other, the room erupts into another wave of cheers.
A blonde girl comes up to you, and pulls you away from George. You don’t really mind, but the enthusiasm of everyone around you is a little overwhelming.
“Oh my god—you’re unreal. I’m Milli.” You pull Milli in for a hug, and return the compliment. She’s gorgeous, and so are the rest of the girls here.
You introduce yourself to everyone, and then you take a seat between George and Cinna on the couch. Cinna slips her arm through yours, holding you close.
“Are we the only Americans here?” Cinna looks over to Jason, who nods his head. She looks almost defeated at the confirmation.
You chuckle, nudging her lightly. “I’m like 2% american if that counts.”
She laughs, nods her head, and rests her head on your shoulder.
“Alright, me you and Jason stick together. The three Americans. Well, two and 1/50.” Cinna hums, and you’re silently thankful that some people in here are nice.
Some of them feel off. Like…fake. You won’t point any of them out, it feels unfair. It’s just the vibe you get from them—you have a feeling a few girls will be very cliquey and unfair when it comes to voting.
ROOM 19: So, there’s like two Americans in here. For some reason I was expecting more? Hopefully I don’t pick up Cinna’s accent because my friends will never let me live it down. It’s cool, though. So weird to hear the difference in accents.
“Wait—” Whitney’s voice echoes off the walls, stopping all conversations at once. You turn your head, and she glances between you and George. “What do you two do, then?”
You look over at George, silently asking him to go first. He clears his throat, shrugs his shoulders, and lets out an uncertain noise.
“Well, I started on tiktok.”
“You started on tiktok?” George nods. “Do you talk on tiktok?” He nods again.
“Why not in real life?” Whitney questions. Your brows furrow, glancing between them. George says something along the lines of should I stop? but you’re too busy glaring at Whitney to hear it properly.
“But you don’t talk in real life.” Whitney scoffs, and George shrugs.
“Been here five minutes.” You mumble. Whitney’s lips part, but her chance at a smartass comeback is quickly snatched away from her when the Sidemen slip through the door.
Right on time.
“Hello, everyone.” Simon calls, and the room erupts into faux surprise. You and Cinna cheer louder than everyone, almost deafening George.
“Welcome to a new series of Inside.” JJ gestures vaguely, and everyone claps for him like he’s some kind of royalty. “As you all probably know by now, you’ll be battling it out for a prize fund of 1 million pounds.”
You all cheer again, despite already knowing this.
“There’ll be challenges every day.” Vik explains, and Cinna tips her head back with a groan. “If you do badly in any of these challenges, money will be taken from the prize fund.”
Harry steps forward, bouncing excitedly on his heels. “As you can see, there’s nothing in here. That’s because everything in here costs money.”
Farah mocks his gesture, and everyone bursts into short chuckles.
“But you’ll be happy to know that the shop is now…open!”
People are already shuffling their way up and off of the couch, which baffles you in so many ways.
There’s no need to spend any money right now.
It’s been an hour at most.
You keep a mental note of those that are a little too eager to buy things so early, and stay seated on the couch until everyone is on their way to the shop.
The Sidemen soon leave, wishing everyone luck for the competition.
Even Cinna leaves your side to look at the shop. Unbelievable.
You trail slowly behind everyone, almost walking alongside George. You want to see what the shop has to offer, but you’re not going to buy anything.
You don’t need anything.
The shop is quite small in comparison to the other rooms, so it’s a bit tight when everyone is in there at the same time.
“I wanna buy something first, you know.” Whitney yells over everyone else.
You and George eventually make it to the shop, but you both linger at the back. There’s nothing too exciting there.
“A golden straw? What’s that, then?” Farah questions, earning no reply.
George folds his arms over his chest, watching the commotion unfold.
“Probably a straw that’s gold.” You chime in, looking in George’s direction for some sort of approval.
He smirks, but offers nothing more.
Whitney buys a pot noodle and a cup of tea, claiming she hasn’t eaten for days.
You think back to six hours ago when you, along with the rest of the cast, ate an all - you - can - eat breakfast.
“Not caving?” George chuckles, leaning down behind you to whisper in your ear.
You jump, inevitably, before regaining composure and shaking your head.
“Good. I like you.” He says.
When you turn around to reply properly, he’s gone, and you’re left with a hoard of screaming adults.
Maybe it is worth staying here after all.
a/n: haii pls lmk if u want more parts or if i should kms
could you please write arthurtv reacting to reader being like really clingy all day, not really a reason why but i think that would be so cute! i love your work queen 🥰
teddy bear ── Arthurtv ⋆⭒˚.⋆
pairing: arthurtv x reader
summary: reader is just essentially clingy to arthur, what the request asks!
warnings/contents: none just fluffy
a/n: oh how i love an arthurtv drabble
requests are open and i'm happy to write whatever, hope you enjoy xx
IT HAD STARTED BEFORE EITHER OF YOU REALLY NOTICED─
You hadn’t woken up planning to be clingy. It wasn’t like that. There wasn’t some secret plan to annoy your boyfriend while he worked. But from the moment you rolled over that morning and saw Arthur still half-asleep, hair messy and cheek pressed into the pillow, you just didn’t want to let go.
He’d mumbled something like, “Morning, love,” and kissed your forehead before pulling you in again. And that should’ve been it. But you didn’t move.
You stayed there long after he got up, long after he made coffee, long after he started setting up his laptop to edit in the living room. Every time he passed, you reached for him. A hand on his hoodie, a sleepy hug from behind, a quiet little, “Come sit for a bit.”
By noon, you were basically his shadow.
Arthur was sitting on the sofa, headphones half on, editing something on Final Cut. You couldn’t even tell what video it was, probably one of his commentary ones, with the little pauses where he’d laugh or talk to himself. You didn’t care. You were sprawled on the other end of the couch, legs half over his lap, scrolling on your phone with no intention of moving.
Every now and then he glanced down at you, confused but faintly smiling.
“Are you alright, babe?” he asked eventually, eyes flicking from the laptop to you.
You looked up, already pouting. “Yeah. Why?”
He tilted his head a little. “You’ve been very…” He paused, searching for the word. “Attached today.”
You gasped quietly, pretending to be offended. “Attached?”
Arthur laughed under his breath. “That’s not a bad thing,” he said quickly, raising both hands. “I’m just saying, you’ve hugged me like fifteen times since breakfast.”
You gave a soft huff and slid closer until your legs brushed his side. “Maybe I just like you.”
He turned slightly toward you, half amused and half endeared, that kind of look that made his eyes crinkle. “Maybe? Just maybe?”
You grinned and burrowed into his arm, resting your cheek against his shoulder. “Don’t make fun of me.”
“I’m not,” he said, and his voice softened around the edges. “I promise I’m not.”
He kissed the top of your head lightly, and you felt his hand squeeze your knee before he turned back to the screen. For a few minutes, the only sounds were his mouse clicks, the faint hum of the laptop fan, and the muffled sound of his own voice from the video.
Then you sighed dramatically.
He looked over again. “What’s wrong now?”
“Nothing,” you said. “Just… you’re so far away.”
Arthur blinked. “I’m literally right here.”
“Emotionally far.”
He laughed properly this time, a low, warm sound. “You’re ridiculous.”
You smiled, proud of yourself, and shifted until your head was in his lap. He tried to protest, tried to reach for the keyboard again, but your weight made him stop.
“You know I actually have to get this video done,” he said.
“Mhm.”
“I’ve been editing it for two days.”
“Mhm.”
He stared down at you, amused. “And you’re just going to lie there and distract me, yeah?”
You tilted your face up to him. “Yeah.”
Arthur pressed his lips together, trying and failing not to smile.
You watched him go back to editing, occasionally muttering under his breath about timestamps or transitions. His free hand absentmindedly found your hair, running through it as he worked. The gentle repetition of his fingers brushing through your hair made you melt even more into the sofa.
For a while, it was quiet again. The sun moved lazily through the window, the flat felt hazy and calm.
Then you spoke up, voice small. “You don’t mind, do you?”
“Mind what?”
“That I’m like… this today.”
Arthur paused the clip and looked down at you again. You were staring at his hoodie string, fiddling with it, not meeting his eyes.
He softened instantly.
“No,” he said gently. “Of course not.”
You glanced up. “Really?”
“Really. I just don’t think I’ve ever seen you this…” He smiled, brushing his thumb along your temple. “Clingy before. It’s new.”
You pouted. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
“It’s not,” he said, smiling. “It’s just… adorable. Unexpected.”
You hid your face in his jumper. “Stop.”
He chuckled and set the laptop aside entirely now. “What’s gotten into you?”
You shrugged into his chest. “Don’t know. Just want to be near you.”
Arthur’s heart actually did something in his chest at that — a small, quiet ache that felt like warmth and disbelief mixed together.
“Yeah?” he said, a little softer now.
“Yeah.”
He leaned back, letting you curl closer. “Alright, then. Be near me.”
