Ulmane stood there, frozen as he stared into those Golden Eyes. The Rabbit, on the other hand, kept slowly walking towards the petrified Wolf, a sadistic grin sweeping across his face.
“Too bad he still didn’t have enough rage to finish his own fight, are you already starting to piece everything together?~”
Ulmane could barely breathe, let alone speak. That was when he heard a voice from within scream out at him.
That was all it took for Ulmane to snap out of his shock. Turning around swiftly, he began dashing on all fours, kicking up snow as the blizzard kept bearing down on him. He couldn’t even see as snow kept blocking his lenses, but he wouldn’t stop running. He could still feel those menacing golden eyes following him. For the first time, he could hear his own heartbeat pounding within his chest, but questioning how it did so would have to come later.
The Rabbit was, indeed, following him, body progressively growing more engulfed with flames to obscure his body aswell as clearing away any snow that would obstruct his path and slow him down.
Soon, Ulmane heard a voice in the distance, a familiar voice.
Ulmane stopped, before trying to listen for where the voice came from, only for his back to suddenly suffer a searing, scorching blast of golden flames that sent him flying against a tree. The loud thud making the tree shake violently, but Ulmane was still alive, save for the burnt back and smoldering remains of his coat, revealing his stitches and scars.
The Wolf started to move once again, shakily leaning onto the tree to support himself as he got back to his feet. His ear twitched, hearing the sound of another fireball being thrown at him, which he dove out of the way from and watched as the tree he had dove from was reduced to a charred stump.
Wisque instantly looked into her inventory one he said he was hungry. She had just gotten some Cinnabunnies from the shop encase Reaver came to visit, but she couldnt let this little one go hungry.
“Would you like these?” she asked with a kind smile as she offered the cinnabunnies to Ulmane.
