The Deadly Dragons which hang from the ceiling of the Atrium at the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland, were created by basket maker Bob Johnston.

We’re delighted that One by one, the lights go out is screening this Sunday, 29th June at the Ulster Museum, Belfast as part of Docs Ireland.

The film is a tender, meditative documentary marking the end of an era, as the filmmaker's 87 year old father steps away from the land he has tended for decades.

Narrated by Michael Harding and inspired by his essay, the film reflects on legacy, memory, and the quiet passage of time.

Woke up to a wee #snowstorm in #belfast! I must have brought this crazy weather from Colorado with me. ❄️🥶Enjoyed one last amazing meal by Chef Gerry at @anoldrectory. Vegetarian #croquemadame! 😱 Headed out on one last adventure - to visit #ulstermuseum. What a terrific place this is! It houses #art, #history, and #natural sciences all in one building. These photos don’t do it justice. You could easily spend all day here! What a treasure! So very sad to leave #northernireland. The people have been so incredibly nice. Their history is incredibly complex, sad, fascinating, and inspiring all at the same time. This city is full of hard working and decent people, and I have loved every minute of my time here. PS - could not have chosen a better place to rest my head!!
