It's (understandably) not the most focused on reaction, but it seems like Strickler has the most idea what is happening at the end of episode 10. Which given how long he's been around makes sense.

Even if Strickler himself wasn’t there at the battle of killahead or before that, I feel like Merlin was known among the changelings for screwing over his apprentices, which would make sense, as Morgana was his apprentice and he cut off her freaking hand

Someone brought up an interesting theory about Arthur being the first trollhunter, and Merlin turned him into a troll for it (if someone knows who made that theory, let me know and I’ll link it). With that theory in mind, its very easy to see how Strickler realized what was going on during ep 10.

I'd really love to write or read a series of everyone's reactions to the end of episode 10. Also just a thought but you'd think it'd have been faster to get in if Strickler changed forms.

First off, I’d like to apologize for the late reply. Second off, we’re actually getting a book that covers what happens at the end of ep 10, so that’ll be cool!

Things probably would’ve been very different if Strickler had transformed. He would’ve yanked Jim right out of that tub. Barbara would’ve drained that tub. Toby and Claire would’ve tooken Jim out of the house so they could talk to him in private, and so Strickler and Barbara could yell at Merlin without Jim’s interference. I do believe Jim could’ve destroyed Gunmar as a human, I just think he probably would’ve actually died if he had absorbed Morgana’s magic, as he would’ve been very weak from fighting Gunmar, and that plus human body means Jim wouldn’t have made it.

I wonder though, if Jim’s death would’ve been better than what actually happened.

Hi there! So I'm not entirely sure of your character preferences in TH, but personally I wish we'd gotten some more bonding with Jim and the changelings. But I do have a soft spot for Strickler being protective over Jim. What about you, how do you feel about the changelings?

howdy! i love the changelings, strickler especially. he’s such a good character. the relationship he has with jim is interesting, because i wouldn’t necessarily put it down as a father-son relationship, although that is what it resembles. he had concern for jim since episode one, which is so different from most villains and one of the main reasons why his redemption arc is solid and realistic.

nomura is also an awesome character, and i wished we had more time with her. i get the feeling that when they were originally writing the show, she wasnt meant to be a big character in later seasons. im happy tho, that she showed up again, if only for a bit in season 2 and 3. i also like that she and strickler opposite from each other, i get the feeling they bicker a lot, as they value different things. one thing the two do have in common, however, is their soft spot for jim (i dont blame them tho, jim is my soft spot too lmao), which makes sense, as he saw the good in both of them.

one good thing tho, is that we’ll most likely see them both again in wizards, if the current description of it rings true.

It seems so. Its not like these writers know what theyre doing, have been doing this for a long time, and know how to differentiate characters from each other personality and design wise. But no i guess that every female character that has something in common with sally is apparently sally now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
