Nothing to say, changeling Barbara in THE angor rot vs Strickler and Jim episode

i dont really like the way this come out, i'm NOT good drawing trolls at all, but I wanted to try

I wanted to make Barbara have four eyes because of how people with glasses are called like that, also, I gave Barbara a whip weapon, no particular reason, I just thought it was cool

Summary: It’s not that Walter or Barbara are particularly dissatisfied with their relationship. Things are going quite well in the Lake household as summer break nears its close: Jim has returned, human and alive after his brush with the Arcane Order, they are making steady progress on finding the former familiars new homes, and Barbara and Walter have settled into a sort of comfortable domesticity that both would admit they had needed for a long time. But the entertainment scene in Arcadia Oaks is…limited. There are only so many restaurants that a changeling can eat at without getting looks, inciting a panic…or a stampede. There are even fewer activities and venues that they can visit without facing the harsh, lethal rays of the sun. Meeting Barbara for mid-shift dinners and moonlit picnics will always be a privilege, but Walter longs for more. Barbara deserves more. And so…he hatches a plan.

Notes: Hello again, everyone! Welcome back to another month of KeenSwimmers! For this month, I'm combining four prompts for the month into a single, multi-chapter fic. Each chapter will represent one week's prompt, with this first chapter serving as the prologue. The first week's prompt will be posted before the end of the week.

Hi Pinky Most people who Watch a Hero with thousand faces get cringe by it not mention the Whole Stones especially regarding the Sun as one that many people think might help Jim when as half Troll

but as seen here by Aaron Watlke it limited to combat and wouldn't much help besides letting Jim Survived in the Sun 5 minutes clearly not enough time to Survive as a half Troll not mention how much out of control those could be.

my question is how do you think Stricker clones would be like had he had the Same thing happened to him as Jim did.

also because i everytime i saw what would happen if Claire got cloned lol

Yeah uh I don't fully trust whatever Aaron Watlke says about things that don't make it into the show, he could just be backtracking to say that actually the sun stone isn't that good and not a way to allow Jim to be happy and walk in the sun as a troll again... 😔

I'm not sure what temporarily means either. Like are we talking 5 minutes? Half an hour? Is there a cool off time whenever its used? He doesn't say anything about how it works.

Also a: 'lesson in why Jim shouldn't mess around with magic he barely understands,' is so ironic considering what Jim does in RoTT.

As for if Strickler had clones from the aspectus stone... I actually had a whole chapter on that from my first fic A change in a Moment, which had Trollhunter! Strickler (as well as Strickler being human originally and turned into a changeling by accident a few years before canon, so he's married to Barbara with Jim as his bio son there). Week one: Interdimensional

“CHAPTER I: THE WATER WARS”

Barbara and Strickler had been enjoying a peaceful life in Arcadia. One day, Barbara accidentally touched an ancient magical stone that Jim had stumbled upon—a mysterious relic said to send anyone who touched it into another dimension.

In an instant, Strickler was swept up with her, and the two found themselves stranded on the distant planet Nevarro.

There, they encountered the Mandalorian, a legendary bounty hunter, and his adopted son, Grogu. With the pair’s help, Barbara and Strickler began searching for a way back to their own world.

But even the greatest adventures call for a moment of rest…. So, just for today, they set aside thoughts of returning home and joined Grogu for a lively game of Water Wars!.

Obviously, they’re doing this after the sun goes down.

Just a little headcanon of mine. 😂

Here are some random notes about this AU, including the setting and how Strickler and Barbara first met Mando and Grogu.

Since the Star Wars universe is such a dangerous place, I feel like Strickler and Barbara would first make sure they had weapons and other essentials. And I absolutely need Barb to use a broom as her weapon!

With Strickler by her side, Barb would feel pretty safe most of the time. She’s probably the more optimistic one, while Strickler stays on high alert to keep them both out of danger.

I can totally imagine the two of them gathering information in a cantina when Mando spots them. He takes one look at Strickler and goes, “Wait… green skin… long claws… Are you the same species as this kid?!” while pointing at Grogu. That’s how they end up meeting!

And I just know Barb would adore little creatures and babies, so I can totally picture her happily holding Grogu.

Meanwhile, while Barbara is happily holding Grogu, Strickler absentmindedly brushes a hand against one of Grogu’s ears, thinking, “A distant relative of NotEnrique, perhaps? The size is certainly comparable…” Or perhaps not. 😂

Week one of Stricklake month: Time loop

Summary: (Strickler PoV) Instead of dying, the explosion from Skrael's titan sends Strickler back to the day Kanjigar dies. Now, after several failed timelines, unbeknownst to Strickler, he's in the same timeline as Jim, who used the time stone to go back in time repeatedly in seperate timelines. A chance rescue changes everything though, now they just have to tell Barbara...

Another chance for me to explore post RoTT ideas, this time a time loop idea inspired by the fic We'll make it this time by @that1writer81 (hope its okay to tag you! I know I've talked about this AU with you in your comments on your fic, and it deserves a shout out!).

StrickLake Month 2026 Interdimensional

4 Non Blondie - What's up

So I decided to made this interdimensional after all and they met the X-Men. So yeah, I mixed up the Trollhunters universe and the Marvel universe. And yes, I'm maybe a bit of a nerd and I love the X-Men movies and Hugh Jackman's version of Wolverine, as well as Ian McKellen's version of Magneto. Absolutely brilliant!

I fixed this because I send it on wrong place first. Sorry.

Strickler

@pinkytoothlesso11 really Making Love Strickler more and more.

although my heart belong to only 1 baby girl.

but yeah i think Strickler is probably the best character in the Show in terms of Wetting and Story.

Season 3 is less to him more to do with Stricklake but i am not here to harp on the Show.

People have their preferences but i think Strickler have a lot of Story to pick on him.

and yes i mainly do it because i can't draw and i want to do something it basically Strickler month too
