What draws you to a person, and holds your interest?
Hmm.... that's a big question 🤔🤔 I really had to take some time to think about how I wanted to answer you.
I'm not sure if you're asking me about friendships or romantic interests so I will try to answer both.
I think just like most people I'm drawn to those that show a genuine interest in me as a person and wants to get to know me. To understand me. People that show me they genuinely enjoy my company. All my weirdness. I think a natural chemistry and banter is essential. And I want them to be transparent and open enough to allow me to enjoy them in the same way.
I like people that are capable of having deep conversations not just the surface level, every day, how are you... how's your day kind of thing. I like people that are funny and charming. Just genuinely kind and engaging people.
If it's someone that likes me a little more than a friend and wants to get to know me on a deeper level then they have to be flirty without being overtly sexual. And I don't take hints so they have to be confident enough to be open and vulnerable with me. They have to tell me exactly how they feel and exactly what they want. They have to make me feel like I'm a priority. I'm not just another random girl on the internet. Because that's exactly how I'm going to treat them.
They have to be open-minded and understanding. They have to be patient and support my mental health. Not contribute to the down fall of it. It's super important to me that a man knows how to be a gentleman until it's time not to be 😉 He has to have a strong moral compass but not self-righteous. And strong consistent communication skills are mandatory. I need reassurance and consistent behavior regularly. I'm an overthinker and my brain always goes to the worst place possible so I have to have people around me that can take care of me emotionally.
If you have a problem with anyone's nationality, race, gender, pronouns or sexuality you are not my type. That is an absolute deal breaker. We are not friends. We don't have to have the same religion and we don't have to have the same political beliefs. But if you support ICE or the abuse of women and children then we do not see eye to eye. I will not agree to disagree with someone that can support something so disgusting. It's not about politics anymore. It's about basic human rights.
So obviously this isn't every single thing but it's the bigger things that are important to me. I'm sure I'll throw some more qualities I like in the tags but I think this is long enough for now 😂😂 I hope I answered your question and gave you a little peek of the girl behind the blog😉
