Training Week of 11-6-2017
11-6: Static trapeze. Really good, albeit scary class. First, we ran this sequence from quite high. We did have to reset a tiny bit, mostly because I wanted Jim to spot part of it, but I did the front roll to feet twice from quite high, hip flip worked reasonably well, and all in all went quite well. Then we drilled the final bit and figured some things out. At the end I was quite spent (there was part where Jim based to figure out what to do, so Drew got a break but I kept flying), so we played with neck hang drop to hands for fun.
11-7: Rest. Should have been cyr wheel, but I had a work dinner.
11-8: Flying trapeze. Pretty good class; best star timers yet. Though, William was the catcher, so it's not unrelated to that.
11-9: Ultimate Pull-Up Program Phase 1 Workout 1
11-10: Ultimate Pull-Up Program Phase 1 Workout 2
11-11: Shaun T25 Gamma Rip't Up. Since I'll be traveling for the next 11 days I figured it would be good to do something with weights. My shoulders really felt this one for whatever reason.
11-12: Three Week Yoga Retreat Week Three Flow. Though this is the final flow in the program, and thus in theory the hardest one, it's pretty gentle. It's 30min through Sun Salutation A and B, Dancing Warrior, and then whichever one it is where you do Half-Moon. Ted (yay! Ted!) has you do each sequence through once without the vinyasas in between and then again with the vinyasas. Again, on the easy side, but good for my jet-lagged body that had sat on an airplane for seven hours. Also wandered around Lyon quite a bit to try to stay awake.
