Looking at a list of headcanons from Aaron Waltke, and apparently he believes everyone gets their memories back and almost every death in TOA, aside pre-Trollhunters deaths and Kanjigar, no longer happens.

That's really nice, but... banishing these things to the realm of headcanons still makes for a very dissatisfying ending if you ask me. :/
