At last...!

It's been a while since I posted an update on my Marshall collection, huh? (Then again, it's been a while since I posted anything that's not just a Daily Marshall...) Truth be told, there's not a whole lot out there now that I don't own... at least, merch released in the USA, anyway. There are still many (and I mean, MANY) things available overseas, but shipping's often so crazy high, so I have to be careful with what I purchase. I usually have to wait for a good deal to pop up...

...Such is the case with this one! For any new followers, know that Marshall's Ultimate Fire Gear is my #1 favorite outfit of his, and when FuRyu (a Japanese company) made a plush doll based on that, I was super determined to get one. It took... quite some time, to say the least, but a good deal finally popped up on Ebay. $24, with free shipping! Believe it or not, that's the best deal I've seen for one of these!

At last, it's finally in my collection. :)

I gotta say, it's pretty cute! Arguably a lot better than most of the plush dolls that get released here in the USA. The build quality seems quite nice, too. I don't know much about FuRyu, but going by this, I'd say they make some fine products.

His pup pack is just a printed-on graphic, which is a bit of a bummer. Surprisingly, the same can't be said about the paw pads, which use a shinier material compared to what's around it. Usually, the ones sold in the USA just print those on as well and call it a day. lol

And a close-up of the helmet, because why not. A little bent, but hey, this thing made a journey from Japan over to the USA, so I'm just glad it looks as good as it does! The whole thing is still in great condition, otherwise! Now, I... just have to find a spot for it on one of my shelves. That's a task all on its own. lol

That's all for now! Yeah, only one item this time. No doubt the season 11 Fire Rescue toys will pop up at some point this year, and I certainly plan to add all or most of those to my collection. I'm... going to have a ton of fun trying to find spots for those, too. 😅

New Marshall Pics! (Season 10, Ep. 20)

It's been a while since I've done this, eh? Well, a new episode premiered early on KnowledgeKids, and I'm quite happy it did, since... well, you'll see!

The first segment - "Pups vs. The Hum-Flectors"

As you can see from the title card... it's an Ultimate Fire Rescue!! Wow, we haven't seen one of these in the original TV series since all the way back in season 6! As many of you know, the Ultimate Fire Gear is my favorite outfit of Marshall's, so I was of course thrilled to see him wear it again! And the Ultimate Fire Truck, too... that thing is legit cool. :)

Just some before-the-mission screenshots before I get to the good stuff. The pups were digging holes for some plants, if you're curious.

And now, some pics during the mission! Again, it was awesome seeing Ultimate Fire Marshall again! However, you want to know the other big surprise?

...THERE WAS AN ACTUAL FIRE!

Unlike the theatrical films, the TV series often shies away from fire. It's always either off-screen, implied, something smoldering or getting too hot, or in the case of Sparks (from Rescue Knights), his "fire breath" is more of a hot mist. The last time we seen an actual uncontrolled fire was... all the way back in season 1. And yet, they had an actual fire in this episode... TWO, in fact! Color me surprised!

My only complaint is that, despite what I described, the whole thing felt kind of... small in scale. Marshall's regular gear and firetruck could've easily handled the situation just fine, and the other stuff just required two pups in their normal gear. Still, I won't pass up the opportunity to see my favorite character in his best outfit!

And the second segment - "Pups Save a Capybara".

I don't have much to say about this one. Tracker's involved, so that's cool. Anyone notice the cartoon seems to be using him a lot more lately? Either way, outside of him, it was just Chase and Zuma. Otherwise, Winnie Winnington showed up again, and I won't blame you if you don't remember who she is. Overall, not as good as the last segment, but it's hard to compete with an Ultimate Fire Rescue. ;)

Mega Bloks PAW Patrol Marshall's Ultimate Fire Truck with Figures!

Here's a new item I found out about today! Alongside that True Metal vehicle I posted about in January, this is now the second item that's been released this year of Marshall's Ultimate Fire Truck! Once again, I hope this is a sign that we're going to see it again soon! 😊

Season 6′s “Ultimate Rescue: Pups Save the Opening Ceremonies” and “Ultimate Rescue: Pups Save the Adventure Bay Games” finally aired for the first time in North America today! I did my usual New Marshall Pics thing when it first aired back in February of 2020, but... it’s an Ultimate Fire Rescue, so I’ve no problem posting more!

And I threw in some pics from the Ultimate Police Rescue, since I think Marshall looks quite nice in that uniform, too (though I definitely prefer him in red. lol)

Trivia - In the US/Canada, this is the first episode where Marshall’s current voice actor, Kingsley Marshall, took over for Lukas Engel. As of the seventh episode of season 8, he’s still voicing the spotted pup. In fact, he’s also voicing him in the upcoming PAW Patrol movie, too!

Found this on a Portuguese website. It’s a plush of Marshall in his Ultimate Fire Rescue gear, but according to the title of the page, it’s about fifteen inches tall (twice the size of the other plush I own)!

(I’d love to own one, but it’s not sold in the US. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to try to own one someday, somehow. 😉)

New episode alert~

Finally premiering for the first time in North America, season 6′s “Ultimate Rescue: Pups Save the Opening Ceremonies” and “Ultimate Rescue: Pups Save the Adventure Bay Games” will air on NIck Jr. on July 23 at 12pm (Est).

In Canada/TVOkids, season 8′s “Pups Save the Treasure Cruise” and “Pups Save Rocket Ryder” will air July 24 at 8am (Est, replay at 8pm).

I’ve been checking out some of the other Bolo Fests on Youtube... and hey, look at what I found from the 2018 parade! I’ve been wanting to see a Marshall balloon float for many years now, and I finally got my wish! And whoa, he’s wearing his Ultimate Fire Rescue gear, too! This is just too awesome! 😁
