ALRIGHT…. luv that slime man tbh
At the start of the game, Kieran… well, they quite frankly held the opinion that Mitsuru needed to take a bath. He was this smelly, greasy person who didn’t do much in terms of first impressions, so they were inclined to avoid him. Their opinion at that point was mostly “wow, what does that guy even do as a SHSL, is he a sfx of some sort?”. There was the element of mild intrigue, but as they were busy avoiding people, they didn’t really interact with him much!
And then came the trial, where Nao… well, broke down. And Mitsuru did some stuff that, quite frankly, they didn’t pay close attention to because Ryo was running towards them and they didn’t really think of much else at the time.
So, anyways! Then Nao died. Rip. In deadblog, they relaxed a lot more than when they were alive, and they actually began to appreciate the fact that Mitsuru shared similar ideals to them? Not completely, but they thought that he was smart with the way he dealt with others, and how he was like “ok we need to get down to business and wtf Malachi”.
So, then Mitsuru kept on living, and he was actually being helpful! And eventually, Kieran actually softened to the idea of Mitsuru surviving, as they were focused on the idea that Not All Humans would try killing them, so… Mitsuru was actually indirectly responsible for part of their development. And then Mitsuru was mistrialed on, and Kieran was angry at that point. They understood what he was saying with his speech, and they didn’t want…. him to die…
And he did not! And he endgamed! And Kieran is very happy because of that, if only because he can take care of the others and find out a way to revive the dead students. Hopefully.
(Nao has really skewed priorities)
Final score: respect and 6/10
