I feel like Ultrakill fans, when adapting 7-4 to an artistic medium (mainly animations) forget the fact that Hell Itself is physically holding the Earthmover in place with the flesh tree mass (relation to 7-3?)

Because yes, V1 never actually got to fullfilling its purpose before 7-4 and had its development haulted with the end of the Final War, so naturally people see this level as V1 being able to finally fullfill its purpose in a layer dedicated to humanity's love of violence and war, grotesque beauty. However, they forget that it is being held in place like a lamb to the slaughter, for V1, a sick performance - ties well with the general themes of Fraud (V1 as a puppet, an actor for Hell Itself). So it is less V1 dropping in the level and picking the closest killable Earthmover, more like Hell Itself just preparing a gift for its newest plaything
