Strawberry Chiffon (with Whipped Cream Frosting)

This one blew up on twitter a while ago because of a silly joke i made hahaha. Pretty proud of myself for this one!

Recipe in more:

ingredients:

3 eggs

sugar (60g)

milk (40g)

veg. oil (35g)

corn starch (5g) cake flour (50g)

heavy cream and sugar for frosting (eyeballed)

Steps:

preheat oven to 160 C or 320 F

1. seperate egg whites and yolk

2. add oil and milk to bowl with yolk

3. in seperate bowl, beat egg white, add sugar in 1/3s. in the last third of sugar, add corn starch. beat till stiff peaks.

4. sift in flour into yolk, mix with egg beater (non electric) until smooth.

5. fold in 1/3 egg whites into yolk mixture, then fold in the rest.

6. bake for ~35 mins, or until toothpick comes out clean
