since im finally past episode 10 of ultraman nexus i think its about time i watch this. now i know this is a prequel but im pretty sure this came out just after nexus episode 10. gotta say it looks pretty fucking good.

I received some criticism previously, there was some confusion if Noa is running or if his left foot was supposed to be planted on the ground to cast the shadow that it did. I took some time to finish up the background, so there's is clear understanding of the camera angle and placement of the shadow, to ground the character better. At the same time, it would be a more finished illustration than just a character rendering floating in space. Ultraman Noa on 12x18 watercolor paper. Nexus has been one of my favorite newer generation of Ultraman. I love the evolution of this character from Next to Nexus and finally Noa. The story is also quite dark for an Ultraman movie/series.
