Isn’t the whole buck dating older people and clinging to them as they’re his big firsts (Tommy and Abby) thing reminiscent of Eddie having Shannon as his big first and then not opening himself up to others until he sees her look alike and then goes after her??

I feel like people hate fun, Ya'know?

It's always "but it's not a very good movie" so? Do I care? "Well I guess if you like it for nostalgia" no, no I don't it doesn't have to be the best movie ever made for me to enjoy it, honestly most of my favourite movies are, objectively not very good and guess what? I don't care!! It's fun to like things!!

I feel like it shows the lack of media literacy in people, like, I know they aren't good movies and I still like them, my most popular example for this the original hell boy movie and dune right? Hell boy is fun! I fucking love that movie, is the plot flawed yeah! And dune I love that movie too! And it's a cinematic masterpiece

But get this, I like hell boy more than dune, just because it's 'objectively' better in every possible way doesn't mean anything.

sigh. my sister is on a school trip, she’s in the airport getting ready to fly back now. She FaceTimed me, and started telling me about the trip. She seems to have had an awesome time for the most part, but then she told me the bad parts. Her and her friends were at a diner, and the creep was staring at one of her friends in a bad way. They went to the gift shop of a different diner and there was this visibly intoxicated guy following around my sister, and 3 other girls. They did the whole “turn right four times” thing, he was definitely following them. The connection is really bad so the call keeps dropping, but she implied that a bunch of other bad stuff happened. I don’t know why I’m sharing this, it’s just so crappy that stuff like this has to happen.
