long story short i got sucked into the persona hole and drew this about it hashtag oops.. its not super clean but i like the linework

finally drew two of my uma ocs so behold:

first, my dearest daughter who does not care for anything but winning until she meets her rival (who has not been drawn yet) :D

all of my uma ocs would be hell to train (either with forcing you to lose a race, being a literal glitch in the game, or being obsessed with being injured) so lemme tell you about luni here

she despises that nickname and tries to get people to always call her by her full name but no one does so she settles to correcting them to "lunar" (no one listens)

most of her trainee scenarios would happen at night as she loves the moon. people often describe her as "an uma made of the moonlight"

she is sickly pale because she despises the sun and is ill pretty much 24/7💔 if her races end up being in sunlight she has a chance to get a migraine. she also would have an increased chance of getting "night owl" but just through her trainee scenarios, not from resting. one of her innate skills would be "rainy days"

her rival is sun-themed :3 and would be an end closer. so she really does become a lunar eclipse in races she wins against her 💔

luni does not have many friends and moreso calls people acquaintances or "just someone (she) knows" as she doesn't want anything to break her focus from living up to the second half of her name. she doesn't talk about her parents often but it's because they wanted to "shield" her away from racing due to her being partially blind in the eye she covers

erie! her name is a mix of era, error, and anomaly! remember the glitch in the game mentioned? here she is! her hair covering her eye is because she is quite literally glitching under there

she would show up as a random uma in the career selection but the icon and uma model would glitch a bit and her introduction would be her glitching out of that form and into herself

despite being a game error, she is a huge gamer and loves games that have pixel art :3

she is an anomaly in the entirety of her being as she's the only uma in her team that doesn't have a rival and doesn't really have much horror in her life 💔 she is just a silly gamer who is also an error and runs. though, she will typically be upset at the start of her careers since I'd like to think she'd remember the other times and how you never remember her :3 but that changes to her usual chill yet silly self almost immediately upon starting training :D

her trainee scenarios would be her being like "damn this run kinda sucks, here +30 speed for you" or "yo i found this" and she gives herself a random boost like practice perfect or charming. though, that's at the cost of the possibility to start the run with 50 energy or bad mood

In real life, they'd be brothers and owned by the same man, Nagai Keiji.

In Uma Musume, he's... Ah, an oc of mine, as you could probably guess. As I look through the official Twitter account of the farm that currently takes care of Nakayama Festa, I ended up finding out about this Suzuka Phoenix guy. And I was so confused at first, not knowing who he was. I search up his Netkeiba page, and turns out, this guy is a big deal! His most important win is his only G1 win, but that's okay because he came in fifth place against VODKA in the Yasuda Kinen 2008. Big stuff.

So, I looked through more of that Twitter account, and I soon fell in love with this guy. I just had to make an oc out of him—he's my fave's retirement buddy, for God's sake. And now we're here.

In short, Suzuka Phoenix is Silence Suzuka's underclassman, and after news of her senior getting injured, she decided to make it her mission to finish what was started. Yep, Phoenix wants to continue Silence's legacy, to add more to the already otherworldly legend. Of course, that comes with all sorts of issues, like imposter syndrome, low self esteem, the whole list. In her journey, she learns to be her own Uma Musume, to see her own worth separated from Silence Suzuka, and that helps her through her most important race, the Takamatsunomiya Kinen. It's a race that the older Suzuka doesn't have in her resume, now does she?

Admin is @vidd03k, aka the guy who made the character. I have like... Zero to no boundaries except NSFW obviously, but that's that. I just like to play and draw.
