I’ve been playing a lot of Umamusume recently. The small little UmaQuest DnD event is the funniest fucking thing.
Like the game going all self aware and referencing its own mechanics to break the game mechanics they are playing got a chuckle out of me.
Next it’s Gold Ship as the demon lord. I saw that coming a mile away, the second it was mentioned the demon king just recently started existing and at the same time as the glitch..my GolShi sensors went off.
Not Sky going “Gold Ship isn’t causing the problem, she is the problem.” Love that. Gold Ship really is just a a fucking menace and I LOVE that.
Let’s be so for real. Gold Ship would ruin an entire country’s economy for a bowl of Risotto. If it were Yakisoba it’s probably be the whole world.
Grass using the pace chaser strategy to fast forward was so fucking funny. The fourth wall break and then Gold Ship getting caught off guard because of it was funny. “We took a short cut” got me. I love Gold Ship’s expressions in this. Also I don’t think Grass Wonder randomly fucking levitating off screen will ever not be both funny and lowkey terrifying. Like if I saw the magical horse girl just float up into the sky….I’d simply cease to be.
It’s really evident that Gold Ship’s VA had an absolute blast voicing all of this. I never have complaints on how well she is voiced and how much inflection and emotion are in those lines. Lowkey the best character hands down.
Also I didn’t get it because the scene moved too fast. There was a whole scenario where Gold Ship snuck off screen like a Snidely Whiplash villain from an old cartoon, and that sent me for a hot minute. I love Gold Ship so much, this character is truly a gift.
