This article shows the difference between being granted rights to things such as education versus being able to access those rights wherever you live. The issue isn't that these Guinean teenagers are not able to provide themselves with an education, but rather that they have limited access to elements such as electricity and light to maintain academic standards.

I'm not sure what year this was taken, but it is apparently a photo of a "human zoo." People are crowding around a black child who is literally caged in. Although this is terribly heartbreaking to see anyone treated this way, a positive spin can be put on it because it shows the progress that has been made with racism. We are very focused on how racist people are today, but at least human zoos are unheard of today. That is immense progress, although there is a lot more progression needed to reach equality for all.
A town hall meeting discussing the Trayvon Martin shooting after it happened. I really love this photo because it shows such a drastic display of emotion. This relates to racism and discussions about police brutality, and the emotional effects it has one affected people.
Although i think this is completely uncalled for, whoever wrote this has a point about how feminism sometimes gets twisted into hatred towards men rather than equality. There should most definitely be time designated to remembering the great feats of women in history, but we need to be careful about negatively representing men in doing so.
This picture is a great representation of how dehumanizing racial segregation can be. There is so much importance put on where you're from, and who you belong with. There might as well be a label sewed on to everyone, just like an article of clothing or a doll. It shouldn't matter, because we are all human.
