HELLO & WELCOME TO EVERYONE!
I was originally going to post our first main event today, but figured it might be better to give everyone some time to mingle first.
Please check out this list to find out who your dorm buddy is. For generations three and above, you are living solo, hooray!
Accommodation wise, the dorm building for our cadets is unfortunately not great. The walls are pretty thin and the cleaners only come twice a week. Four people live in the same dorm room for the cadets and the showers/bathrooms (with individual stalls) are shared. Think college-styled living, only the beds become empty on a regular basis because cadets may or may not drop like flies. The building manager Mrs. Bronco does not have a good personality and will yell at you if you are even a minute late for lights out.
For generations four and five, two of you share a room at a time. The building is cleaner and each room has a bathroom with a tub shower combo.
Meals are taken at cafeteria and all cadets must follow a very strict meal plan with one daily snack ration. As you go up the generations, you can eat more freely because you probably earned it.
To help with plotting, please check out our open event! Most of these can be done as threads and may be good for building connections.
Also, one change in the Guide! Before, I wrote children under a certain age would always turn, and therefore the Umbrella has no kids. I am changing that - some kids do manage to keep their sanity and not turn. However, until they become teenagers, they are not expected on the battle field. The organization would raise the special kids and care for them until they are ready to fight. The children may be spotted in the organization traveling in groups, all dressed in black and red uniforms. Every other day they are permitted to go play in the parks/pools under watchful eyes of their elite soldier caregivers, so if you have young siblings in the organization, you can wave at them and smile when they are going out. Otherwise, soldiers are not permitted to seek out a child on their own or to play with them. If you find a stray child, lost, please return them to the children’s building or to your squad leader/commanding officer.
When soldiers are not on missions, they are encouraged to train or study. However, they are also permitted to relax on the Umbrella premise.

Thanks & have fun!
