Umbaran- thanks to @keo-the-raptor with coming up with this idea, the bad batch when the umbaran arc happened

They landed on umbara, the 501st needing help with the chaos of the umbarans, thye managed to get to the umbaran base with high casualties thanks to general pong krell.
Cross kept making snarky comments about krell
And tech scowling at how he tosses the regs to their death
Wrecker and hunter seemed not to liking to the idea
They watched the umbaran fighters come Cruising in and land, the two clones fives and jesse got out looking Solomon....the other clone....he didn't make it
They were soon engulfed by there own troops and sent to the brig
Hunter kicked a wall
"They shouldn't be treated like that! They showed bravery and vallor in combat! Thye should be given a medal! Not a cell!"
Cross nodded slightly and kept cleaning his rifle, his forearm bandaged from a blow from the umbarans bolt
"Oh...you haven't heard...they are being executed" tech said tapping in his data pad
There was a loud thud and stomping
"You done it now tech" Cross got up from where he was leaning following the now angery Sargent
Hunter stopped into the deck and scowled at the general "you have no right to execute those men." He snarled
"And you have no right ordering me around Sargent"
"Those men! Do not deserve death"
"They went against my order. Which is treason."
"BECAUSE YOU STUPID ORDER RISK THEIR VODS LIVES" Hunter took a breath "my squad and i risk are lives for them. We do danger missions to help them. And those regs in the brig stood up and did what thye have to do. They do not deserve death." Hunter looked up at the general who has gotten closer to him
"And you. Sargent are no 'reg' you are a defect clones. You are supposed to risk your life. Because your better, more superior then them." Krell said smugly
Hunter bit his tongue and stomped out muttering curses
Hunter didn't talk to the others, the usual sign of don't talk to him otherwise you won't have a head, cross chewed his pick watching the area
Wrecker was helping tech with analysing the umbaran technology, then the captain came over
"Heard you yelling from down here Sargent"
Hunter just moved his head to look at rex then back at the ground grumbling
"He's just moody that you got a that guy leading you guys and the situation with the reg in the brig"
Rex blinked a few times in suprise
"You are?"
"Yeah. They don't deserve to die. They stepped up to the heat of battle, doing not a reg usually does." Hunter muttered
"But oh I'm krell a stuck up jedi who doesn't care about his men and lead from behind"
He went back to scowling
"Well...we have a call from one of are scouts, saying the umbaran are using our armor, would be great to give us a hand with the situation"
"Sure cap" Cross got off his leaning post and went looking for the other two squad members
Hunter sighed quietly "okay....as long as that idiot isn't following"
"Don't think so Sargent" Hunter picked up his helmet walking with rex to outside of the base
Cross fired at the enemy giving cover for hunter as he grabbed a armour umbaran pressing the knife to their throat but stopped, he looked at the visor seeing eyes...they eyes
He dropped the knife taking the helmet off seeing a reg
A reg...
The colour drained from his face and his head snapped to rex
"CAPTAIN! WE NEED TO STOP FIRING! THEY ARE CLONES!"
rex head showed from cover looking at the clone who had stopped struggling in his grip
And sprinted to the Cross fire
Hunter let go of the reg falling to the ground
His heart in his throat
He looked down at his hands seeing blood stained hands....vod killer.......
He heard footsteps looking up at cross seeing the blood across his helmet he pulled it off in shaking hands
"I-we..." Hunter surged up hugging him tightly
"We had no idea"
He sensed tech and wrecker, and let go of cross
"We need to find the other okay?"
Cross nodded and followed hunter
They found them, tech holding his side coughing slightly and wrecker doing his best not to panic, but it started to show
Hunter got closer and yelled for a medic
Tech coughed "oh...I didn't see that coming" He hissed in pain as cross put pressure on the wound "definitely didn't see the other side were actually are allies" Cross wrapped the wound and scooped him up
"We need to get back, but I think the 105st and the 212th battalion are pissed about krell using them, so me and tech will sneak into the medical wing and patch him up...and any other survivors...." Crosses voices went quiet
"Okay..stay safe cross, and tech stay alive....we already lose too many today"
Krell attacked and hunter had a short window to roll out the way if he wanted his body still connected to his legs, he felt a slice to his leg and cried out at the sudden burn
"Not so smart are you Sargent. Where the anger before?"
Wrecker grabbed krell and tossed him away from hunter
The jedi landed but went after other poor regs
Wrecker crouched beside hunter
"It's still there, just a gash"
Hunter tried to laugh but the pain was just unbearable
They watched a clone, run towards the plant life and use himself as bait, the jedi being tossed like a ragdoll around the place and then sent to the ground, the reg then stunned him
Everyone started to walk back with the criminal
Tech layed on the medical bed tapping on the data pad muttering, cross was helping the medics with injured regs as hunter limped in with wrecker
"They got him" Hunter hissed
"The frog will pay for what he did." He said as he was leant on the medical bed
"Good. Deserves a bolt for every clone he killed." Cross snapped taking of the armour and cutting hunter blacks getting to the wound
"Also good news" tech chimmed "General skywalker his coming back, and krell will answer for his crimes, if no ones has killed him that is"
Hunter sighed softly trying to get the images of killing regs out his head
He shook his head slightly
They won't leave him
He already did the deed
A deed which will haunt him
