Eclipse’s nightmare
Eclipse was cleaning up after a long day of working at the daycare. He was currently wiping the play place down with a wet wipe. He was whistling a toon as he did so. When he finished, he threw the wipe in the nearest trash can.
Eclipse got out a clip board with a list of chores on it, he marked the last one on the list. “And now, to handle the other issue.” He told himself.
“Saturn? Saturn? You up at the tower?” He called for her
He used his cable to go up to the tower and sees Saturn packing up her things. “Saturn?” He asked.
Saturn turned to eclipse. “Oh, it’s you.” She asked dismissively, her tone carrying no real emotion to it.
“Look, we need to talk” Eclipse said, going down the plate form to her.
“well… I was thinking of our fight and maybe I went a lil too far with it.” Eclipse says
“I’ve also thought of it, which is why I’ve decided to move back to my ship.”
Eclipses eyes widen at this “you’re moving away? Why, what about the daycare and getting you your cure, the right of the stars-“
“I’ve revoked the right of the stars.” Saturn states Firmly.
“What?!”
“I no longer wish to be with you. You’ve been nothing but a burden to me now.”
“Saturn, I’m sorry about what happened, I’ve just been so worried about all that has happened and I just don’t wanna lose you, please I-“
Eclipse was suddenly interrupted by Saturns wicked laughter, cold and mocking, eclipse was just confused.
“Oh, you think just a simple argument was gonna make me wanna leave? Oh eclipse, I knew you were naive but this is just sad.”
“Saturn, what are you talking about?”
“The truth is…I never did care for you, just spared you out of pity.” Saturn admits coldly with a smile. “I don’t care about you or anyone in this building. You are all my playthings. I take joy out of making you suffer, and if I was letting you on…it was just to make this part hurt more. That argument only made me realize how little of use you actually were to me.”
Eclipse just stood there, shocked, his heart shattered, sad and looking like a kicked over puppy.
“No…no no, don’t say that. You can’t just say something like that. After all we’ve been through, after the time we’ve spent. You can’t just say that you don’t care cus I know that’s not true.” Eclipse’s eyes were starting to sting, he wipes them and tries to calm down but it’s too overwhelming for him. “Saturn?…” eclipse asked, his voice cracking in sadness. “You still love me, right?”
Saturn paused for a moment and walked up to him, pulling his face up to look at her, her touch soft yet cold, giving a false sense of comfort for him.
“Oh eclipse…why would you think anyone could love an abomination like you? Saturn asked cruelly, her smile wicked and taunting.
“You’ll just be nothing but a distant memory to me, if I even remember you that is.” She says walking away. “Have a nice rest of your life alone.”
“Wait, Saturn, please I’ll be better, I-“
Before he could finish, she was gone, teleported away, just like that.
That was the last straw for him.
He fell to his knees and started to cry.
Begging silently “please come back” over and over and over again.
Then he awoke.
He sat at the couch he was napping on and sat up, looking down at the ground.
He always did think she was too good for him, that he wasn’t something worth her time, but those were distant thoughts he’d brush off and ignore, he never thought much on it cus at the end of the day, he was her star, she knew- no, thought she did love him…until now, until that fight, until Saturn left for god knows how long. He should’ve expected it really, Her family was always so heartless and cruel, he should’ve known she was just the same, that she never saw him the same way he did her, but it still hurt him deeply.
He wiped the tears from his face and got up “Eclipse, calm yourself.” He scolded himself. “You just need some fresh air, ya, that’s it, just a nice lil old walk.”
He fiddled with his teleporter and saw a location to a forest area, no known enemies Saturn banned him from seeing, no unknown life he hasn’t met, just…woods and animals.
“Perfect.”
He pressed a button and teleported away
