I have to side with Julian: when there’s a plate of scrambled eggs in front of you enjoying them quickly should be your number one priority, because the difference in deliciousness between hot scrambled eggs and cooled scrambled eggs is so enormous that letting them go cold is a tragedy on par with Julius Caesar.

Which is what’s so interesting, because, and I absolutely don’t mean this in a confrontational way with you, but....why would I need to know what’s flat or sharp? The music tells me that in the notation itself, and it’s not like I’d remember while playing in any case. 

Like, until I needed to start transposing songs into different keys so that I could play them with my limited chording ability or sing them in the right vocal register, I had no use for the whole concept of a “key” at all. Now that I’m composing I do find it a bit more useful in that I know which chords sound nice together, and sometimes when I’m writing a song I’ll have the key in front of me so I know my options, but that’s about its limit of use for me. 

I mean I’m sure there is a real and absolutely valid reason you’d need to know that kind of data in advance, but if I’m never going to be in the situation where I would, I feel like there’s no purpose to further exploration of the concept, especially since I’d need to re-learn it when I get into that situation anyway :D

I can’t imagine it won’t happen eventually. I’m sure there are influencer parents who bring their kids into the show occasionally, and an influencer account is a pretty hot commodity; I can see someone slowly transitioning their child or a popular guest/staff member into the role and then retiring. Haven’t there been a few reality shows where the child of the original reality star has spun off into their own feature? I can’t like, name any, but that’s primarily because I don’t watch any. Didn’t one of the Osborne kids get their own show?

Ignore if you already know about this, but rose rosette disease is really bad in the US right now. It’s super contagious, like “sterilize your equipment between plants when pruning” contagious, and seems like it could give even your demon rose a run for its money, so be careful.

I had to google that to find out what it was, and ah yes, witches broom. Fortunately nothing new has been brought into our garden since we moved in (and I suspect several years before that) so our risk of contaminating her with any new plants that might be infected with the mite are lowish, of course not entirely impossible. 

We’ve also given up on pruning her, she breaks the shears, but I’ll be keeping a watchful eye on her as the spring thaws. I know she was pissed off after the whole accidental herbicide incident last summer. I’d rather not lose her to a mite infection too.

Mine love ice, too!! What's really bad is when you forget about said melting ice cube and go skiing across the kitchen floor! Not pretty :D

I always make sure to kick it somewhere I won’t step on it -- with the added bonus that then she goes crazy trying to move it back out into the open :D

I had a cat who did that! Careful that she doesn’t work out that cups can have ice in them- Dusty eventually started knocking them over!

Oh, they’ve been in love with Cups Of Water On The Coffee Table since I brought them home :D I had to switch to mason jars because their heads won’t fit in them. They don’t even drink the water! They just like sniffing around in the cup.

Have you put ice cubes in their water yet?

I did try that, but neither of them really like the cold -- they just sniffed at it and then ignored it. They won’t eat cat food from the fridge either, have to have it warmed up, the spoiled brats. :D

I'm not in the 100 fandom but isn't having a bi character representation regardless of her relationship? Or am I just grumpy because I'm sick of women's worth being defined by our relationships?

Oh yes, her just existing is representation. It doesn’t matter who she’s in a relationship with, she is still bisexual. If she’s with a girl? Bisexual. If she’s with a guy? Bisexual. If she’s single? Bisexual. But her being in a relationship with a man is not queer representation and straight people telling queer people that it is representation and to “shut up and accept it” is inexcusable.
