Wanted to make sure you got your award. 😉 I’m so proud of you and all you’ve done for UMU Cheer. 💜 As a leader from very early on you worked tirelessly to ensure that cheer is seen as a sport and that people see the hard work that is put in behind the scenes. You created the Bible your freshman year! You were a beast of a base. Ran a game with precision and focus. And never cheated on your tumbling or jumps. You were left to manage the transition of the team to new rules and new coaches as just a junior with no help or guidance. Although you probably didn’t always do it with a smile on your face, you handled it better than most young adults ever could. You are wise beyond your years and regardless of what they tell you or how they treat you - YOU ARE UMU CHEER!!! I’m proud to have coached you. But I’m blessed to now have you in my life for the long haul. Right or wrong - you’re the best mini-me I’ve ever had!!! For all those reasons and many more - you are my coach’s award recipient!!!
