And who exactly is completely ignoring the problem of his psychotic husband being a ghoul and instead running to try ice cream for the first time? That's right. It's him.

    "I've noticed a bit of a recurring trend with this makeshift family, but that isn't what's important right now. Aren't I older than my new 'mother'?"

    Naoto had fallen in to a bit of a routine in which she would buy a newspaper daily; if only to browse the news to keep up on current events, check out the help wanted ads in case someone needed a detective-for-hire, and solve the occasional crossword puzzle.

    Today's outing went a bit differently. 

     The racks lining  the checkout line always held magazines; more often than not with various idols from the city gracing the covers.  While they normally didn't interest her, one caught her eye. Lustrous brunette pigtails and an infectiously cheerful expression that was all too familiar, topped off with a headline that cleared away all doubt.

    Risette makes her Iunctum debut!

     Naoto lifted the magazine in slight disbelief as a name dropped from her lips. 

     "Kujikawa-san...?"
