Gifts for my friends I did back in December ♥ Hiatus is over! Commission updates incoming.
Something I did back in July.
I was extremely lucky to find an incredible partner for text-based Solavellan RPG, settled in the Arlathan timeline. She is everything I ever wanted from my co-player, and our story, slowly unfolding while we progressing further, never fails to inspire me. So here’s some characters from it: Una Lavellan, the protagonist and my co-player’s character — an orphan, Mythal’s servant with an incredible magic potential and a talent for shapeshifting; Ellana, Fen’Harel’s paid servant; Vhenal, former slave of Dirthamen, now — another Fen’Harel’s paid servant and his former apprentice, ultimately failed to keep this role.
I was planning to post these alongside Fen’Harel and Mythal portraits (and I have drafts for Andruil and Ghilan'nain as well), but vacation and some really complex commissions got me, so I couldn't find enough free time to finish the rest. Well, it seems they need to wait for a bit longer. But soon!
Go check my aesthetics collages for this AU if you missed them! 1 | 2
Una Lavellan (the protagonist), Ellana and Vhenal (OCs). • made for text-based role-playing game I play with my friend (aka Arlathan AU).
By @reservoircat [who is getting pimped a lot because she’s so great at this] the set for Una and Solas. Ahhh, Nimune, you don’t date Merlin. He’s a bag of dicks. Even more so in this incarnation. What really amused me was I named Una long before the Solas reveal was even really hinted at and her name means ‘lamb.’ The relationship literally became the wolf and the lamb and the dynamic that added to it just SEALED it for me. I have a few other Inquisitors, but she’s my canon and it was sealed months in advance with me loving the old Irish version of Agnes/Inez.
Because @reservoircat loves me too much she made me another one! This one is an image board for Una and Cullen. :D So happy s he’s using all the Mexica stuff I put in. I claim the Dalish for us. Europeans get enough in fantasy. Dalish are ours now. I said it.
But yes, second love. And in this case waaaaaay better than her romance with Solas as there’s not the overtone of controlling and emotional abuse. The Lamb and the Lion love eachother. Not the all consuming passion that hit like the mid-day sun with Solas, but something comfortable, supportive and passionate. Where each helps the other be their best. Second loves, yo. Sometimes they’re way better than the first.
Ficbit DA:I, random bits
Have some random bits of writing. *hides*
“Mother Mythal…” Una muttered as they stepped into view of what was left of the Temple of Sacred Ashes.
“Mythal has nothing to do with this,” the one who called himself Solas said dryly.
“Who, or what, is Mythal?” Cassandra’s voice cut through the air.
“A Dalish mother goddess,” the durgen’len said simply.
“How do you…?” Una asked, stopping to look back at the odd dwarf, his crossbow - Bianca - leaning against his shoulder.
He grinned and shrugged, “You’re not the first Dalish elf I’ve met, and Daisy loved to tell stories.”
“They’re not just stories,” Una muttered, she had no real intention of actually arguing the fact, not right now.
“Indeed. It’d be more accurate to call them lies.” Solas returned, causing Una to bristle.
