The ship was lost and it was many years before the ship resurfaced. Upon searching the ship it was discovered that all the adults aboard the ship had died due to void exposure. However, for reasons unknown at the time the children of the Zariman Ten-Zero had survived and appeared completely fine. The children had survived exposure to the void and had developed uncontrollable void related powers that mutilated or killed anyone who came into contact with them. The Zariman children were hidden away and forgotten by the Orokin out of shame and fear.  Margulis discovered the Tenno and feeling compassion adopted them as her own. She sought out a means for the Tenno to control their powers and interact with the world normally...Transference. Then came the Old War, the orokin were faced with losing the war and with their technology useless, the Orokin needed to create something new with different technology that could adapt to and fight the Sentients. Ballas began research, using willing and unwilling volunteers from the Orokin's elite warrior race the Dax to create Warframes using a specifically engineered strain of the Infestation called Helminth. Though effective, the warframes were as uncontrollable as the Sentients. Until they realized that through the Transference technology, the Zariman chldren would be capable of controlling the warframes. The Zariman children were trained into the fighting force known as the Tenno, and through Transference they wielded the Warframes as their conduits to wage war against the Sentients. The Orokin placed these children into 5 discplines to groom this power: Unairu, Madurai, Zenurik, Naramon, and Vazarin. The Unairu were trained to Outlast the Enemy, to withstand all aggression without retreat. They believed that if the enemy could not match their endurance, then a battle could be won without having even commenced...This is the school Seph belonged to. The Madurai were trained to Engage The Enemy. Their swift, uncompromising onslaught, holding nothing back and recklessly attacking their foes, could vanquish an opponent before he had the chance to steel himself. Speed and savagery characterized this school...This is the school Silva belonged to.
