My addition:

and the scribe of zenurik filled each grimorie with orokin blood. every arc of the blade, every twist of the dagger, the libraries of the orokin overflowed. the strokes of each character inked with the fading life of those once lofty blue bodies. their skin shorn for the next page, the scribe's hand never still. even dante took pause, at sight of the scribe's ceaseless hands and that damned, dripping, blue, grimoire.

Thank you!! I’ve been surprised and delighted (mostly surprised) by how much folks have loved that one. To be perfectly honest, I prefer a polearm for most larp fights, bc I’m short and I need all the reach I can get! But I’m also enamored with hand-and-a-half or “bastard” swords, because I like the idea of versatility and also being a bastard
