Recently, I have had to come out several different times and each time I found myself having to remain in the closet with some aspect of my identity.

As a nonbinary lesbian, I often have to choose whether to come out as nonbinary or as a lesbian, even when coming out to other members of my own community!

Many times I have had to settle with nonbinary, something that hurts me deeply because being a lesbian is really important to me.

So I guess all this to say, nonbinary lesbians should not have to surrender parts of themselves to be accepted regardless of their relationship with gender or what pronouns they use.

We deserve the right to be completely, publicly ourselves.

A neutrois lesbian flag!

Although this is simply a combination of the colors of the neutrois and simplified lesbian flags, I’ve added meanings to the stripes!

Red- Power.

Orange- Strength, butches.

Off-white- Unity.

Mint- Disconnect from womanhood.

Light purple- History, sapphic violets.

Purple- Peace, femmes.

Dark purple- Remembrance.
