I’ve been feeling down lately, frustrated in part by writer’s block and also by the lack of fandom (so few people comparatively care about Reeve across all the spaces </3 ) BUT I’ve also been feeling inspired lately to change that. So over the next week I’ll be queuing up by favorite Reeve (and Assistant!) content. Looking to compile a Reevesistant reading rec list too, and maybe even a general favorite Reeve fics list.

Then I’ve just read @unbiddenrhythm‘s fic: Fulcrum (Reeve/Assistant) about the post-sector 7 drop. The Rasberry family are mentioned. And, yeah... go read!  

Though, lowkey putting it out there - if any Jessie’s want to let shit out at Reeve, I’m down.

NAME:  Reeve Eitan Tuesti

NICKNAME: Has acquired several pet names from others :3 (Reevie/ey Reevers, Reebles, Tootsie (Tuesti) roll - the list goes on). But it’s just Reeve. Ethan if you’re a specific Veld. Cait Sith will always be Cait Sith (in full) to Reeve, but is often called by other variants / various names under the sun.

PERSONAL

MORALITY:  LAWFUL / NEUTRAL / CHAOTIC (CS) / GOOD / GREY / EVIL

RELIGION:  None, he’s a man of logic. However a lifelong fascination with the Summons (Gods), the events of his lifetime and after discussions regarding the lifestream (mako viability and his Inspire ability), Reeve is somewhat a seeking or curious type of ‘spiritual’

SINS:  greed  /  gluttony  /  sloth  /  lust  /  pride  /  envy /   wrath

VIRTUES:  chastity  /  charity  /  diligence  /  humility  /  kindness / patience / justice

PRIMARY GOALS IN LIFE:  To improve and protect the lives of all the beings that live on the Planet.

KNOWN  LANGUAGES: Common tongue, rural North Kalmland colloquialisms. Picks up sayings or words from other languages easy but has no fluency.

PHYSICAL BUILD: scrawny  / bony  /  slender (DoC) /  fit-ter (OGC/R) /  athletic  /  curvy  /  herculean  /  pudgy  /  average (on average)

HEIGHT:  5′11″ || 180cm

WEIGHT:  ~160lbs (150lbs DoC - 165lbs OGC) || ~72.5Kg

ABILITIES  / POWERS:  

He’s an Inspire - granting him a lifelong connection to the inorganic and eventually the ability to emit life into non-sentient objects. It is part of the reason he was considered a savant of sorts in both an engineering and architectural capacity, however he relies firstly upon ‘actual’ knowledge, experience and skill.

Slightly above average magic stock (MP points) and high potentiality for materia use (favours status materia) via Cait Sith. Reeve himself could be a decent ‘Green Mage’ if he was ever to try it out (unlikely). 

Does not under any circumstance label it ‘psychic’ phenomena, but Reeve is observant, intuitive and perceptive so has an ability to pick up patterns easily and can have visions best determine likely outcomes.

Reasonably adept in activities that require good hand-to-eye coordination.

RESTRICTIONS-

Not suited to direct battle/combat situations. Both in terms of original Cait Sith designs, and Reeve’s own propensity to seek out alternative solutions wherever possible. 

Decidedly average physicality, has no enhancements of any kind.

Aside from the genetic legacy of being an Inspire though this actually takes its toll on Reeve at a physical, emotional, spiritual level.

Prone to ignore physical limitations, suffers from tension headaches (takes pills) and can have back or digestive issues. More pronounced as he ages.

FOOD:  Homemade food (stew / hotpot, roast dinner), udon noodle soup, sushi or steak if eating out fancy.

DRINK:  Black coffee

Has been known to be strong-armed into pencil in more regular sessions watching blockbusters / romances / horrors with Yuffie later in life. He finds her reactions hilarious priceless.

SEASON: Reeve is Autumnal, however he prefers the new possibilities of Spring

CURSE  WORD: Uses mild curses typically, often a saying involving the Summons or a colloquialism, Gods/Dammit, Damn, Bloody, Bollocks, Shit (unspoken or under breath). Says Fuck very very rarely and usually only under specific circumstance (sex, we’re talking about sex)

SCENTS: Clean, Herbal, Woody, Coffee, Metal, Oil/Grease/Lubrication. Likes Gunpowder, Rain/Petrichor, Sea-Salt, Lavender, familiar scents of partners

FUN STUFF

BOTTOM  OR  TOP:  Reeve despises these labels, it depends on partner and circumstance. He’s a true Switch. Though slight preference to occasional dominance in women, leans heavily to service top.
