“I know what you’re thinking so you might as well say it--” she muttered, ruffling her hair a little frustratingly at the figure in front of her as she looked at them with wide eyes and the slightest smile spread across her lips; one that was mainly being forced out. Not that Lydia had any physic powers, no matter how much she wished she did, but she could tell that they were thinking or saying something about her inside that little head of theirs. It wasn’t exactly rocket science, it was all in the body language. The banshee wanted answers.

‘ hey, i uh heard you went to see lydia. ’ slim fingers clutched the book in her fingers, holding tight to the only ( evidence she had of ) these ‘ dread doctors. ’ she wasn’t sure what it meant. after all, it was a science fiction novel. the emphasis being on fiction. but it was the only thing she had, so she had to figure it out. while she was stressing about clearing her name, lydia had been fighting for her life in the hospital. all that blood, she could still see it. ‘ how is she? did SHE WAKE up? ’
